Any updates on Brantley? Didn't look like much of anything on the double and he got to trot home on the home run. Bizarre.

On surface, great news. but you never like to see back issues. Gotta hope its just an issue with playing on the turf.

OK. Give him the day off tomorrow.
I am sure most know but the Tigers are ridiculously hot right not. Just finished off a 3 game sweep of the O's in Baltimore. They can't continue to play .667 all year but they are getting close to the point where they can go .500 the rest of way and get to a number the Tribe can't reach. If they were to go .500 from this point out the rest of year, they would finish 87-75. They just need to cool the hell off right now.

Chiz and Murphy with 5 hits each. First time since 1932 the Tribe has had 2 players in the same game with 5+ hits.

At this point, how does he not clear waivers? If somebody claims him, they have to put him on their big league roster. Not happening.

Big game for me tonight. My 3 straight series thread winning streak is on the line. Could be some runs tonight with Salazar going. The Angels chased Happ in his last start in the 3rd inning. Only his 3rd start this season but the fact that he is left handed will probably be the difference. Tribe just 4-9 against left handed starters this year.

The Tribe put Nyjer Morgan on the 15 day DL with a sprained knee, calling up from Columbus, Jesus Aguilar, a slugging first baseman.
