I second that! It's not even because of his songs which are hilarious!

I saw Tommy Jhonigan the other day. Not the funniest I've ever seen but quite entertaining.

When I first saw him, I thought Lewis Black was really good. I still like him but he needs some new material.
I also like Larry, The Cable Guy...although he is starting to wear on me. Again, it's the exact same thing over and over and you start to tire of it.There are others but the quality of most modern day comedians doesn't compare well with some of the "old-timers". I heard Sam Kinnison in Toledo years ago and I almost died I laughed so much that night. He left us way too soon. Another of my favorites was George Carlin, who had a tremendous way of commenting on the foibles of our society. there were many other yesteryear comics who I really enjoyed.

I saw Mitch Hedberg at Mershon on the OSU campus and he was three sheets to the wind. At times he was so drunk he couldn't finish his jokes and kept wrapping himself up in the curtain on the side of the stage. At one point he carved the F word into the stage with the mic stand in about 5 foot letters. I really like some of his stuff but that night was not his night.

Jerry Seinfeld
Denis Leary
George Wallace (think that's his name, big black guy with a gravely voice)
Sinbad
Bill Cosby
Bernie Mac
Eddie Murphy (the early years)
Pat Cooper

When she was alive, Totie Fields
