Winston is a crab leg fan, apparently. Proof again that we need to pay college athletes. LOL :RpS_blink:

Suffice to say that Publix has a Top 3 ACC defense.

on a serious note he's claiming that he buys his lunch from the deli on a daily basis and always gets the same thing. he got distracted and forgot to pay. not sure whether i believe him or not or even care. but it made me think. has anyone ever left a store and accidently forgot to pay for something?
Last year i was shopping at Marshalls and i got some shorts and a belt. the belt was the first thing i picked up and i draped over my neck/shoulder. i continued to shop and got the rest of my stuff and paid for everything. when i got about halfway home i realized that i still had the belt around my neck and i didnt notice nor did the casheir. it did not get rung up with the rest of my stuff, so i can see how this could honestly happen. not saying it did.

I don't believe for an instant it was an accident.
There is a tweet out there showing a screen grab of someone(from early in March) saying they overheard him talking to a store employee saying how the store manager has told him he can have whatever he wants.
I think Clay Travis retweeted it. Who knows if it's true at all, but would not surprise me

I can see forgetting a 12-pack or ice block that's at the bottom of a shopping cart, it is difficult for me to how someone could forget over $30 worth of seafood.

i agree i bet he gets free lunch there all the time...and instead of saying it was an extra benefit and getting suspended they ran it as a theft.

You know things are working perfectly when Winston will claim to steal crab legs over getting them for free to avoid punishment. How about eaten and beaten?Gblock;1611493 wrote:on a serious note he's claiming that he buys his lunch from the deli on a daily basis and always gets the same thing. he got distracted and forgot to pay. not sure whether i believe him or not or even care. but it made me think. has anyone ever left a store and accidently forgot to pay for something?

Crab legs are a little bit different than a belt around your neck.

i totally agree..in this case i think he gets free lunch there a lot hence the expensive meal...maybe his hook up wasnt there as expected and he still tried to ride it out.. after getting caught you cant just say "yeah i get free shit here all the time you will get suspended and lose eligibility, so you have to say you stole it.
i was just asking in general if anyone has ever done it.

Haha..gblock trying to defend a black athlete for stealing.
Now here comes gblock to tell me he's not defending him. But come on, have you ever forgotten to pay something at a store? Uhhhh, no. I've never "forgotten" to pay for something at a store. Lol

Having worked in grocery retail, people accidentally walk out without paying, but you can tell who is making a mistake, and who is trying to shoplift. A person that spends $150 on groceries isn't going to try to shoplift a $3.99 pack of soda. A person that walks up and just buys a 50 cent candy bar and sets off the alarm likely had other plans.Gblock;1611515 wrote:i totally agree..in this case i think he gets free lunch there a lot hence the expensive meal...maybe his hook up wasnt there as expected and he still tried to ride it out.. after getting caught you cant just say "yeah i get free shit here all the time you will get suspended and lose eligibility, so you have to say you stole it.

There's also the reverse - when we had 12 packs of soda outside we'd have people come to the counter and say they'd like to purchase one and we'd ring it up for them, and of course when they head back to their car they'd forget to pick it up. Usually about 10 minutes later they'd come back heavily embarrassed to grab it.
