Cavs are now the favorites, according to 5Dimes online betting, to win the NBA title.

I'm sure a ton of people were making big bets on Cleveland so Vegas changed it accordingly.

It's not a bad bet if you can get decent odds. You're basically betting on Lebron going to Cleveland and then they make a title run, which isn't too far stretched.

Last week, the odds on Lebron to Cleveland were 60:1. As of yesterday they were down to 4:1. If you laid out $100 last week and he decides to return, you made out like a bandit.

I agree the earlier bets with longer odds are good ones, but anyone who makes a bigger bet now with them as favorites is a derp.

@LeBatardShow LeBron private plane from Las Vegas to Brazil should be a crop duster that dumps fertilizer as it passes over Cleveland

Lebatard is a clown. Just pissed his Miami city will become irrelevant in the sports world once again.

Nice show with your annoying dad. That had a ton of promise

I thought it was funny when someone said that between the Fins, Marlins & CHeat (assuming they lose Lebron), the Miami sports franchises are going to be the "fat chick" of professional sports.

Daryl Ruiter‏@RuiterWrongFAN5 mins.@PhilTrexler reporting Bath Township (where LeBron's house is) police have been told to "be prepared"

Either he's going back to Miami and they expect a mob scene or he's coming to Cleveland and they are expecting a mob scene....

EDIT:

PHIL TREXLER-ABJ‏@PhilTrexler8 minsFolks in Bath feel strongly that LBJ will sign w/ CLE. LBJ's camp contacted cops hour ago to alert them of tonight's annoucement. #kingjames

PHIL TREXLER-ABJ‏@PhilTrexler16 minsHunch in Bath Twp. is that LBJ's coming home, all things are positive. Still nothing official, but police told to "be prepared." #kingjames

PHIL TREXLER-ABJ‏@PhilTrexler19 minsBath police to increase patrols around LBJ's home after 3 p. when annoucement is expected "tonight." #KingJames

A lot of doom & gloomers putting two & two together think the bypassing of Akron to go to the World Cup along with this means he's staying in Miami.

I'm expecting this announcement to come down at about 3:30pm as in "330 area code." One of my co-owners of my company just got a text from his mom. She lives across the street from Lebron in Bath Twp. The cops are already in front of his house. She went out to see what the commotion was about and, as I had mentioned, she said it was for "celebratory" reasons. We'll see....

No offense to BR1986FB in this instance because I know he's being the messenger anyways and there hasn't been much to talk about the past few days -- but the speculation about cops out front his house, or relocating kids to different schools, or moving trucks outside his house in Miami, etc. are all annoying and fucking stupid.

I don't think he announces today anyway. I bet he announces when he gets back from the world cup and throws a party in Cleveland just like he did when he went to Miami.

Also, the more I listen to Windhorst, the more I can't stand him. He was on M&M this morning defending Lebron, saying he's handled everything perfectly and hasn't been leading Cleveland on. No one will never, ever convince me of that. The Lakers, Rockets, or whoever else dropped out of the Lebron sweepstakes pretty quickly because they knew they had no chance. Yet, the Cavs have been there until the final hour, trading players to clear up cap space and trying to sign his former teammates. Bottom line: I don't think those are moves you make without someone along the line hinting that you should.

Windhorst also didn't think Lebron was coming back because the Cavs just signed their coach who hasn't even coached an NBA game yet. The meathead Golic, of all people, reminded him that Spoelstra was hardly a household name when Lebron went there four years ago.

Did you see the tweet above from the Akron Beacon Journal guy? The cops ARE in front of his house right now for this.

Meaning what? He is coming back? Isn't? We should know soon? My point was, trying to make guesses based on his homes or family has gotten old.
