Size so far. Worried about the phone being bogged down and slow in a year. What I liked with my 5, was everytime Apple had an updated OS, it was pushed to my phone and it was like having a new phone even though it wasn't. Felt like the hardware was going to keep up with the software for the duration of the contract. Had a Thunderbolt before I switched to Apple phones. Everything just seemed simpler and clean on the iPhone.

The Thunderbolt was a piece of shit.

I prefer the Nexus line of phones because they come with the bare minimum. It doesn't come with that bundled VZ Navigator stuff or any of that other bullshit.

Unfortunately, being on Verizon, you're stuck with that stuff unless you root your phone. There's ways to hide it all, though. You can customize it to make it look however you want.

No app you can install to make the phone smaller though.

Is there anything you want to do that you can't do?

Other than transfer my Clash of Clans village...no...but there wasn't anything on the 5 that I needed to do that I couldn't either.

Of the two phones(the iphone 5s and the One M8) which one will I be glad I have in 2 years when the contracts up...its with Verizon because its where the work contract is through.

The Thunderbolt was a POS. That's what I had before the S4. Used it for 2 and a half years and it worked alright but at the end the battery life was awful and had a few issues with it. The Galaxy S4 is light years better than the Thunderbolt and maybe the S5 is better suited for you. The setup is great and the battery life is awesome. There's nothing wrong with the iphone though, I just like the bigger screen and more customization with the Galaxy and Android in general. The other thing I love is the typing system where you don't have to type individual keys, you can just swipe to each letter and it knows what word you're typing. The iPhone might have something like that, I'm not sure, but it makes typing messages so much easier.

Can't say. It depends entirely on the user. I mean, it'd be a no-brainer for me since I prefer to customize my phone and actually "own" it. I don't prefer Apple's walled garden.

There's a reason you walked away from them once before.

It's possible you'd run into the same scenario again.

It doesn't. I do really enjoy the ability to swap keyboards on Android. Swiftkey is great.

I've been testing the plain Google Keyboard lately and it works pretty well too.

I'll definitely never go back to iPhone again. Swiftkey or Swype is what I use and it has made typing so much easier. Typing on my ipad sucks now.

I think as long as you choose a flagship devise from a reputable brand, you won't have issues with performance down the road. In other words, stay away from LG.

After 2 years my S3 runs as good as new. You'd think it would be bogged down with 142 apps installed, but it's not.

Again, fuck iPhone.

Ehh...I disagree. LG is reputable. I think you should stay away from phones that are past their prime (more than 8-12 months old) or are from brands that are known for producing devices with dated hardware (Pantech).

LG has had a slew of failed devices. The G2 looks promising, but I'd refrain.

I think if it's over 4 you can't transfer between Apple and android. Ill just have to play it on the iPad if I stick with the one

Lame.

How did the call go?

Basically asked what happened to invoke the tweet. Then explained their policy and that it wasn't a common enough hardware problem for it to be flagged in the system(even though it happened to both my wife and I's phones). But Apple care. Compared the $200 price to a heckuva deal considering you're holding technology only rivaled by the space shuttle.

By this time I had already crawled back to Apple so I had no bargaining chip.
