I hope at some point some professional pride kicks in with Carrasco and he realizes he needs to get his shit together because the guy we cut so he could have his rotation spot is arguably the hottest pitcher in the majors. That would embarrass me if I were him, and it would motivate the shit out of me knowing that my teammates are likely thinking the same thing as the fans about how big a disappointment he has been.HitsRus;1607080 wrote:Hopefully CC can put together a good outing here today...by God, we need to salvage one game.
Our pitching sucks and our bats have gone silent!

As I was reading this he gave up 3 straight hits and the game is tied.IggyPride00;1607091 wrote:I hope at some point some professional pride kicks in with Carrasco and he realizes he needs to get his shit together because the guy we cut so he could have his rotation spot is arguably the hottest pitcher in the majors. Inning could've been even bigger. Not sure why Kip was trying to steal on this guy. I mean, he has a slow delivery, but at the same time he can just alter and go to 1st like he did. Sucks, cause it was a ball, but still a risk that probably didn't need to happen.

Watching Murphy in the first few games, I wasn't impressed.
Now I will eat my thoughts.
He's doing a great job, while others struggle.

it seemed like even last year, the bottom of the order is always more consistent and even productive.BRF;1607156 wrote:Watching Murphy in the first few games, I wasn't impressed.

Cody Allen has done a solid job so far out of the bullpen this year.

Outman might win 20 games with the way our starters are this season.
He's 3-0 now, and will have alot of chances like today to become the pitcher of record because the starters keep leaving the game behind.

Big four game series with KC starting tomorrow. Allen, Atchison and Outman have been solid out of the bullpen and even though it hasn't always been pretty, Axford has 6 saves already.

I say we let Hits start the next thread. He was a little anxious this time around, but now that we have lost a series, I think its time for redemption!

The Sizemore watch..early but looks familiar. 228 w. 2 homers and 2 doubles. On base percentage a measly 286 as a leadoff hitter. Striking out once every 6 plate appearances.
