If we were the Cards, it'd be 4-0 right now. But since we're the Reds, we are only up 1-0.

Liriano couldn't find the strike zone to save his life, yet we were up there whacking away. SMH

I'm not used to listening to Thom B/Cowboy anymore, but do they always use the word, "baby" 3 times an inning?

I love Phillips, but I wish he'd just be himself regardless of where he is in the lineuo. He always changes his approach with where he is in the lineup and it drives me nuts. Just be you and hit the gaps and hit oppo and you'll hit for a great average and drive people in. Instead of all these swinging for blue ash swings.

What's this I'm reading on cbsports.com that Cueto was out two straight times for batter's interference. How'd that happen?

I think I saw it said one time for not getting out quick enough and the other for getting out too quick.

One of which was a botched call.

First one was a good call. He tried to surprise everyone with a bunt, and had a foot in front of the batter's box when he made contact. Called out correctly.

Second one I think was a poor call, but I guess the rule says it was a good call. He bunted, but didn't realize it was fair (hit the dirt right in front of the plate and it bounced up in the air) and stood there for a second...catcher came out to get the ball and ran into Cueto. Called Cueto out.

I don't think you should expect a hitter to run within a split second of making contact; Cueto wasn't trying to block the catcher, he just didn't realize it was a fair ball until he got ran over.

Votto is hitting the ball hard and pulling the ball to the alleys for homers. That's really good news

Yeah all the guys I follow on twitter basically said they misinterpreted the rule. Should not have been called out for interference.

Thanks for the explanation on the batter's interferences. Yes, that is very good news on Joey's hitting! Let's see how well they do with the 3 run lead.

Production from the catcher spot has been a nice change so far this year.

I knew going in that DM was going to produce more that Hannigan had in the past.
Dont know why on FB reds pages people, well mostly women, were saying how the reds were gonna miss hannigan.

Cueto has returned to form, as if he really ever lost it. if he stays healthy, he is a bona fide ace and it will take alot of jack to resign him

Johnny Cueto off the waiver wire is looking like steal of the year in my fantasy baseball league. Also Votto in 3rd round wasn't too bad either

Very good news. I thought I heard Marty wrong when he said that bomb went to RF. That is rare for him. Seems to be handling the inside pitch a little better this year, which was a weakness last season.

He could very well have a big year

Im not very familiar with Fantasy Baseball but it seems like being able to get a legit ace from the waiver wire shouldn't be able to happen.
