New front porch patio furiture. Now I'm just waiting for it to be stolen. Next week will be an end table and tickets for our trip to Mexico.

So, one year's worth lasts you two years? Good deal!

I mean, I get the same sort of value, but that's because I stretch out my contacts longer than "recommended"* as opposed to the "one eye" method. Although, I could get a nice disability amount if I did gouge out one of those fuckers...hmmm...food for thought later on down the line, maybe.

*Because that's all a big medicine corporation lie to keep you buying more and more. If you take good care of your contacts, you can get a lot more mileage out of them than just "daily" "weekly" "whateverly".

No big purchase for me, yet. Bought a house in February (I think). Saving up money to do some renovations. Had a baby in March. So, definitely no purchases in the last two months.

We hope to spend some money on a trip to see family for Easter. If I buy anything new, it'll be a reel mower for our lawn. I would rather not pay a lawn boy to mow it for $10 each time. I also don't want to spend money on a push mower, gas, oil, etc. for no bigger than our yard is.

It also has a nice cup holder - MOFO! We will have to have a race now….I've got an X360.

I like to wave at guys on their zero turns. It's funny to watch that quick wave back before they start going crooked!

Bought this tonight. Just put together an emulation system with a raspberry pi and needed a controller for it.

Ordered this the other day and picked it up at REI last night.

Not a big fan of those generic controllers. They make USB adapters that convert a normal SNES controller to USB and then you can just get an old original SNES controller to play.

I have one each of an NES and SNES adapter hooked into my Mac Mini (which is hooked to my TV) and its a pretty sweet setup.

I'd rather go that route long term but the cost of entry is pretty high. SNES controllers aren't cheap (I have none) and those adapters are $10-15 each. This was only $13 and lets me play around with it a while to see if it's as fun as the original systems.

Check out used game stores. They're usually pretty cheap there versus buying online
