A lot of people want to talk about some of the bad moves that the front office has made but Raburn has been solid ever since they got him and Murphy has already done more then I thought he would.

If they can get the starting pitching figured out, they will have a solid team. The lineup doesn't have any big hitters but a lot of them that will put together good at bats and hit for a good average.

I have said all along the offense is fine. It will go in dry spells, because they dont have the guy who can carry you. But we will be top half in RS at the end of the year.

The starters are a worry, as is the DEPTH of the pen...but the essential parts of the pen are fine. Axford, Allen, Shaw (Scrabble as a match-up). Thats as solid as you will find on most teams. Its the holding teams to 0s when the game is lost from the SP early (last night). We need guys like CC Lee, Outman, etc to get better.

Starters will be shaky, but they can all be dominant in any given outing (save Carrasco). So, who knows. They just have to capitalize and win like 80% or more of the good starts we get from the SP. Cant blow to many of those.

Yes, cause we can only split this one, and your still on a winning streak. But, we got another game tomorrow first. So wait till that is over.

we have had what, like 2 quality starts this year(not counting Bauer). and the average ERA of our regular starters is like 6 at least. 80% isn't going to be enough if they keep up this pace.

Kluber, Bauer, Masterson, McCallister and Salazar (ok, 5.2 and 2ER) have all had a QS.

If you get half your starts to be QS and win 80% of those games, plus, games like today, you will be right there.

A very mundane game today. Multiple rain delays don't help. Kluber looks in control and efficient. Have to get the bats going.

On another note, former Indians Ubaldo Jimenez has started the season 0-3 with an era of 7.31.

I hate to say it but he is right on pace with most of the Indian's staff.

Masterson: 0-0/5.87 ERA /10 ER
Salazar: 0-1/6.75 ERA /7 ER
Carrasco: 0-2/7.84 ERA /9 ER
Kluber: 1-1/7.71 ERA /8 ER (not counting today)
McAllister: 1-1/2.31 ERA /3 ER

At least Jimenez is getting paid good to suck!

Harang 2-1/.96 ERA/2 ER
Kazmir 2-0/1.40 ERA/ 3 ER

How much could our staff use those guys right now?

Ubaldo should be sending Mickey Callaway part of his paycheck right now as he totally turned his career around and appears to be dying without him.

The Tribe eat closers for lunch. It's crazy so far this year how much we have banged around other teams closers.

A) Why didn't Francona challenge the steal at 2B?
B) Why didn't they walk one of the hottest hitters in the league?
