I agree it's a request for an extension. That's certainly new money not previously agreed to.

Semantics are important. If they aren't, maybe the issue supporters should just say it's a new tax. They won't do that...because semantics are important.

is silly. These are private sector workers. If someone is dumb enough to pay $200 for a Bieber concert then you can't blame an entertainer, athlete, or any other celebrity from accepting it. Don't like it, don't pay for it.

When you use words like misappropriation, that typically means taxpayer money going to workers in the public sector. In that case, I'm in agreement. We have too many worthless public employees (particularly in the DC area) that simply show up for a paycheck.

Yeah I don't get the hate for entertainers and sports stars. They're paid what the teams think they're worth because of all the merchandise and shit they sell. If you brought tens of millions of dollars to your company I'm sure you'd be paid well too.
