He's not good.

Playing this team 19 times a year.....they know every damn thing about nearly every players we have and play it well....seems like we don't adapt as quickly or as well as others.

As much as I hate Yadi, he is such a damn good player. Hope that ball of the ankle doesn't hurt him too bad.

They rank Posey ahead of him.....I just can't do it...and I think Posey is great.

Ironman, you're saying the Reds "make a run" in August? There's just as good of a chance they are selling a few guys before August...

No....I'm saying 4/9 to 7/29 is unknown for numerous reasons and I'm going to just watch and see. Still a lot of cruddy teams to face all year long and our woeful bullpen will be much improved fairly soon.

I do worry that Homer will not be nearly as good this year because his boy is gone.

Like all sports baseball will have many unknowns that you can't tell in April or even July. We all watch a ridiculous amount of every sport and season after season it proves that we don't know....part of the lure of sports. While I agree with you it doesn't look good, I'm just not conceding much of anything on April 8th.

I don't think I went ape shit because I could still post there even when everyone bolted. Yeah, that was me though. Those were the really lean years. The Reds were pure trash.

Seriously....my Debby Downer role is that Homer can only pitch to Hanigan.....anyone else see this? Only once last year can I remember Homer pitching to Meso and Meso can into the game in the 4th or 5th and Homer fell apart immediately.

I'll need to be wrong on this for the Reds to have much of a playoff chance....but if Homer and Leake aren't as good but Latos comes back good, Cueto stays healthy and Cingrani is solid (league will get used to him)....along with healthy bullpen and it's still there for the taking IMO.

The worst news yesterday was Latos getting scratched with elbow inflammation.
I said it at the time....if you dont start the season healthy it is difficult to recover in season. they said they dont expect it to be serious....but many a long injury started with that being said.

This is still Bailey's ST basically. Not that it makes it even better. Extremely frustrating to finall jump out in front on a team only to give it up.
