If I was a middle of the road college team (someone like Wake Forrest) I would hire Mike D'Antoni. I think his style and name would bring some good recruits.

Because Bill Self, Izzo, K, Roy, etc aren't leaving the school they are at for another school.
No. Just pick who you want. It's all hypothetical.

Also, a name(mainly because they are on now) that will start to get some major pub is Kevin Ollie. I don't see him leaving UConn anytime soon, but he can coach his ass off.
I was literally just typing this, for the same reasons haha (UConn being on TV). As you allude to, Ollie is a rising star in the business and has done as good a job with this team as I think even Jim Calhoun could. He got these guys to stick around during the post-season ban and to buy into the future he was building. Despite the Huskies having virtually nothing to play for a season ago, Ollie got every last competitive drop out of his squad. That was as good a coaching job as this season.

Being that UConn is a basketball powerhouse and Ollie an alumnus of that fraternity, I don't see him ever leaving Storrs unless it's for the NBA.

I would say

Self
Donovan
Stevens

Miller was in the NIT 2 years ago. I need to see a little bit more consistent contention and/or at least one final 4 appearance before I throw him in that group.

Self is about the absolute oldest I would go after.

I love K, but I would type his resignation myself if it meant getting Brad Stevens tomorrow.

He's still as good a closer as there is in the recruiting game, but his overall coaching has left a lot to be desired the past few years. I thought the 2010 national title would jump start one last run at a mini dynasty for Duke, and it might have if Kyrie Irving didn't go down to injury in 2011, but that window closed quickly. If K can't get Duke back to the Final Four in the next three or four years, then I'd be in favor of the passing of the scepter.

Izzo is still within his prime. Boeheim and Williams have both sort of left it.

I'd disagree with Jim Boeheim. Historically his teams have fared fairly inconsistently (i.e. missing the NCAAs four times since 1997).

17 Sweet 16s and Cuse is always tough. Let's not forget they were 25-0 to start this season and not particularly a good scoring team either

More flame outs and earlier than expected tournament losses than anyone. Fact.
