Napier is pulling a Kemba. He's so damn good. UConn could march all the way to Texas.

Teams that live-and-die by the 3 are so hard to predict.reclegend22;1595304 wrote:I hope Nova does commit a theft here. I really wanted to pick UConn, but decided to "play the field" and take the Wildcats instead (since I knew most everyone would). I hate myself for taking the easy way out there, especially given how much I have hated on Nova all year.

Just pathetic....they can't make layups, and most of the time they try to go inside they turn it over

Not sure he would have made it back down the court to play D.wildcats20;1595314 wrote:Achilles.

Seems crazy, but the way the trainer was looking at his foot I was wondering if some kind of freak stress fracture

I mean you never know...Mulva;1595316 wrote:Not sure he would have made it back down the court to play D.
But based on what he was pressing on, it's not an Achilles. He was messing with his shin and front of his ankle.

It's not the same ankle as the first half, that's for sure.

Ouch. Did not see that first half play before. Surprised that wasn't worse.

You have to make him work now. He's not right, not even close.

And Napier with an Isiah Thomas finish. He's even better wounded.
Apparently Nova has never heard of the Mikan Drill.

I hate how every time an athlete gets hurt they talk about "how tough" they are. 99% of the time an athlete that can play and still help his team is going to play.
The correct way to refer to it would be "he's not gutless".

Didn't want to jinx anything by commenting too early, but after Tennessee over UMass this was the 2nd easiest upset pick in my opinion. Not Nova's fault for the seeding, but they were nowhere near 2-seed good this year.
Especially huge since I have Iowa State in the elite 8. Would have hated if Nova made it there due to Niang's injury.

The score doesn't remotely reflect how thoroughly Nova was outplayed in the 2nd half.

And the last 10 of the first half. It was 20-11 Nova.gut;1595331 wrote:The score doesn't remotely reflect how thoroughly Nova was outplayed in the 2nd half.
