I missed 6 in both my brackets (almost 10% of my pool missed just 5....I'd say almost half missed 7-8 or less)....but I could easily be destroyed by this time Sunday. This year isn't crazy it's just wide open.

That's bad luck. I've probably had some years where I missed 10-11 (in a typical year, below 8-9 should be below average...16 coin flips and maybe 1 or 2 big upsets).ernest_t_bass;1594934 wrote:I'm 21/32.

23/32
I ragged on the B1G all year, yet still picked Nebraska and OSU. Knew that was dumb. I know it's only two games but 25/32 looks a lot better.

Unless you lost one of your final teams, it's all about R2...and then R3 is when the elastic breaks.

MSU, Michigan, Wisconsin still alive. B1G's doing just fine. I don't think many people would hang their hats on OSU or Nebraska. Iowa/Tennessee was a good matchup.birddog23;1594966 wrote:23/32

I'm seeing a lot of shit on Facebook and Twitter about busted brackets. How could anyone's bracket be doing that bad already? Every #1-4 seeded team won except for Duke.

Drama queens....but if you had a middling R1 and are mostly chalk the rest of the way, you are probably out-of-the money.friendfromlowry;1594974 wrote:I'm seeing a lot of shit on Facebook and Twitter about busted brackets. Yeah I know. Thankfully I had Duke going out in Elite 8. So I still have 7/8 elite eight.gut;1594969 wrote:Unless you lost one of your final teams, it's all about R2...and then R3 is when the elastic breaks.

Which baffles me as how my bracket is so bad. I have 1-4 seeds in every region advancing to next weekend.friendfromlowry;1594974 wrote:I'm seeing a lot of shit on Facebook and Twitter about busted brackets. Just did a horrible job choosing the other games. I guessed one 12 over 5, nc state over St. Louis lol 0/4 on 5v12's

Well, 6 OT games will do that to ya. I had probably 4-5 of those break my way or i'd be middle of the pack.

Anyone giving Dayton a chance to beat Syracuse?

Dayton has a better shot than OSU would have had, but no.
Pitt/Florida will be close til the final 4-5 minutes and the Gators will pull away.

How do you have 0 points from your starting back court? That's pitiful

Pitt has just enough time to go on a 13-0 run to send this to OT.

Is that a shitty remake of a crappy song they keep playing between breaks?

Work pool I'm 27/32 with only Duke in the Elite Eight gone. However, I have UK in the Final Four and Iowa State in the Elite Eight. So, I'm going to need some good fortune to hold on.

Also, like we talked about when the bracket came out, Florida's road to the Elite Eight is pretty good. They are a fantastic match-up with UCLA. The Bruins don't have size to really exploit UF and I think Wilbekin and Hill will wreak havoc on the Bruins perimeter D.
Kansas/Syracuse, if both teams get there, will be considerably tougher for those teams to advance than Florida, who be fresh. The big problem for the Gators is, this class has been to that Saturday/Sunday regional final three straight years, and has lost all 3 times. Twice, they literally coughed up chances against inferior teams.

Amazing stat. Florida had ONE TURNOVER today in the 2nd half. It was at the end of the game, with the game clock at 39 and shot clock at 35. They let the shot clock expire for their only turnover of the game.

How the hell is that not a foul on that dunk. Almost completely takes him out from behind.

I'm not going to be able to watch this. Lville gets away with murder. Hancock fouled that dude twice before that elbow would have ever even happened.

Dumb rule, correct call. If I'm a pressing team, I tell my players to stick their chins as close to the guy with the ball as possible every time you trap.
