Agreed. Calipari isnt 1/4th the coach that Bo is, but he just had more talent and more athletes at the end of the dayrobj55;1601561 wrote:Talent wins games, Calipari's team no where near as well coached but wins.

Yeah, really not looking forward to this finals match-up.
But, damn, KY is a team of destiny. 5 wins for a combined 18 points. That's insane. Blow 'em out, UConn, or you got no chance.

That was Bo Ryan's shot at a championship. As great as a coach as he is, the chances at his age of getting this close again are slim. He had the perfect team this season. Fuck.

Aaron Harrison is approaching legend status in Lexington. That's all I will say. UK was deflated after Wisconsin came back. I swear Wisky scored on 10 straight possessions.
Definitely missed Cauley-Stein in this game. UK had no answer for Kaminsky handling the ball. Lucky to escape.

This. Can't believe it has come to that.Iliketurtles;1601566 wrote:Let's go UCONN!
I don't want UConn to win its 4th national title but it's certainly a better prospect than Kentucky winning its 9th.
Fucking Jackson.

I think we should start a vbookie thread on the 5 freshman, wagering which one gets the tourny wins vacated due to NCAA violations.

Hate to see UK win. Great game though. Hate to admit it, but I think UK will beat up on UConn for an easy win.

I always remember JJ having horrible shooting games as OSU disappointed in the tourney. I could swear he was in the exact same situation one year and also missed.centralbucksfan;1601589 wrote:Not sure how old you are, but JJ was nothing but clutch.

Wisconsin misses 1 free throw all game and it ends up killing them.

Nobody deserves a championship less than Calipari and he is on the cusp of two. Damn.
Kevin Ollie is a good story, but watching Jim Calhoun revel in delight is also a picture I don't want to see. Just a horrible all-around ending to the season.
