I like this:

200 -1st
50 - 2nd
25 - Highest Overall Player (For this though, I am sticking with only getting one game if the play-in player ends up with the most)
25 - Highest Overall Game

I didnt hate the seeded player idea, but its just not plausible since we dont now how many rounds we are going to be going.

Higher player means what it is. Highest player. If a play-in team makes the Final Four and that person gets 6 games, so be it...rank the play-in guys HIGHER.

I agree with this. Highest player could be a play-in guy. Probably not likely but could happen so I think the play-in game counts just like any other game.

So 200-50-25-25? Seems like quite a few of us are fine with that. Takes what we've been doing and adds 2 simple additional contests.

We should also make the stipulation like we had last year. If you pick a play-in guy before their play-in game starts you get them.

However, the winners are still eligible, but you wont get their play-in game points. But if they win the 12-5 game, you can still get 2 games out of them.

Maybe I'm dumb, but I don't get this.

The drafting needs to be finished by Tuesday before the first game.

Basically, if you want a play-in player AND the play-in game to count, you have to draft them before Tuesday/Wednesday of their tip-time.

But, if a team wins and you want their player, they are still eligible, you just dont get the points from the play-in game. You will only get them for RD1 and subsequent RDs should they advance.

There is no way we will get 6 RDs done before Tuesdays first game.

Nah it's how we did it last year. We drafted till I think Thursday Morning last year.

It's basically if you want a playin guy draft him before he plays.

I agree with Laley, that was a good rule and needs to continue. There's no chance we get 8 rounds or however many done by the time the games start Tuesday and since there's only 2 games that will really matter for that(unless somebody picks a 16 seed player) it makes sense.

Basically if Xavier plays in the first 4 on Tuesday and Semaj Christon goes off for 25 you can't take him later that night or Wednesday and have his points for that game count. You could still take him just his points would start in their next game.

Im creating a pretty in-depth spreadsheet on google drive. I can share it with anyone who wants it when Im done and you can fill in your own teams points. The only thing you should have to change is the points for the given round and if they are in or out. Everything else should automatically update.

Probably wont be done until late late tonight though.
