I don't mind the tie. I hate NFHS though.

I also don't understand why no shootout in hockey for high schoolers?

Me either. Take it to 4 on 4 after 2 extra periods and then 3 on 3 after 3 extra periods and then a shootout. I am sure they will have a shootout very soon if not next year.
