Tracking a major winter storm for Saturday through Monday, chances of an inch of ice in southern ohio to a foot or more of snow in the I 70 corridor.

Bring it on. We have at least 2 more good snow storms in store for us.

The thing that sucks, we're already pushing back our summer vacation because school is already (even with extended calamity days) going a week later than it was supposed to.

Kids, always fucking up plans.

At first, I was like "shouldn't Said have started this weather thread?"

And then I was like "fuck this, fuck him, and fuck y'all".

Some sites have 8-12 for our area, but waiting for indianaweatheronline to come out with their totals. Been following them thsi year and they have been pretty damned accurate

I find it amusing that me making him supposedly leave was the straw that broke the camels back in one of those threads a few months ago.

I'm ready for Spring.

Yep, and they are admittingly saying they are being very conservative and it very well could change and be more.

133 years!! That is how many years it has been since we have seen this much snow in a winter! Truly amazing, and we will still ahother 4 or 5 weeks of possible snow to go! WOW!

Below is the updated map for the Saturday through Monday stor...m! Looks like most of our snow will be later Saturday through Sunday AM. As I have been saying, I think the model runs tonight will really tell the story, ALL models are showing the heaviest snow south of us!

Yellow - 2" to 4"

Blue - 4" to 6"

Red - 6" to 10"

Dark Red - 10"+ posssible!

Also, for tonight, models still showing temps anywhere from -10 to -24. I still think someone in our area will touch -20! But many areas will be between -13 to -18... more updates later!

Sarcasm? Lol seriously though I think we will see the snow swath move northerly in the days leading up to the event. As usual these things tend to come in a little stronger and more SW-NE oriented than a flat E-W swath that is being shown now. The NAO is not negative which should allow the Polar Vortex to budge out of the way and probably move this a little more north as well.

Either way it will not be until Saturday when the southern piece of energy is sampled as it moves onto American soil that we have a very accurate depiction of this system but I think all of Ohio should be ready for a major shot regardless

Good thing I'm dropping my mower off at Honda tomorrow for its spring tuneup and blade sharpening. Spring is in the air!

The pic is from his finger painting class, and he just added in the snow totals himself.
