Can't wait! Canada looks absolutely sloppy early against Norway, more entertaining than I would have imagined this one to be

It will be. USA will have to shut down the biggest threat, Malkin. Other than him, Russia looked very off against Slovenia.

Happy to see the scoring was spread out today and I love the lines and D pairings. Scoring, 2 way play, and grit on every line.

The USA is fast and fast. IMO Canada needs to sit Carter and get Subban in the lineup

Agreed on Carter and I think Babcock is too afraid to play Subban even though he's an X factor. USA is going to fly under the radar yet again and play up to the underdog role and they thrive doing that.

Canada should role lines like this:

Kunitz-Crosby-St. Louis
Tavares-Getzlaf-Perry
Sharp-Toews-Nash
Benn-Bergeron-Marleau
Duchene

Keith-Weber
Bouwmeester-Pietro
Vlasic-Doughty
Subban

Loungo

Who cares about Canada though :D

Oh, and Zetterberg is on his way back to Detroit. Swedish docs say if his back stays the same, he could be done for the year.

Yeah it's a shame, but yeah he's not looking good. Btw Carter has brought it tonight, a natural hat trick right today

Well I was right about putting Duchene and Subban in the lineup, benched Hamhuis and Sharp

My roommate went to a bar downtown. The bar sent an email out last night saying the tables have all been reserved, and it's now standing room only. Not only that, but they said to get there at least an hour early to get in. So he got there at 5 am. Hockey people are crazy

Checking in, game started at 5:30 local time.

GO USA! Fun 1st period so far. I'm gonna run to the grocery store after the second intermission to grab some alcohol.
