Gordon was on the 3rd tier of testing and knew one more failed test (even barely failed)meant a year ban and did it anyways. Then while appealing, decides to get a DUI. The guy got what he had coming
That isssssss a retarded argument.

Rice beat the living hell out of his girlfriend at the time. 2 games. Gordon failed an nfl drug test (he wouldn't have failed a parole officer's drug test or a drug test to get a job) for marijuana. 16 games.

And hes a piece of shit, but with no charges filed and no exacttt rule about what he did the NFL probably would of heard from the nflpa and i bet Rice would of won of they suspended him a year.

Gordon and everyone else knows tge rule about banned substances. Its written in stone and beat into all young players heads. He knew what was coming and it wasnt an anomaly and they got em after a fun weekend where he just happened to let loose. It wad a culmination. He deserved a year

Gordon in the 3rd tier is also up for debate, making this a stickier situation.

Didn't he only avoid charges after he and his girlfriend got married so she couldn't be forced to testify?

To be short, that's not how the spousal privilege works. Generally it is hard to get current spouses or significant others who have been abused to testify or even want charges brought against their abuser as long as they remain with them.

No to that extent but I've seen 4-5 kids with multiple moms.

I've heard that these chicks move to Florida, get permanent residency, get knocked up and then collect 10% of the athletes income automatically, by Florida law. That may be wrong but i've heard that was their M.O.

Son of a co-worker is on the road to that level. Knocked up a chick in high school. He's in his early 20s now and recently knocked up a girl, whom he broke up with at some point. Has a new girlfriend and it just got announced (she texted another co-worker, who told everyone...because the soap opera of her life is pretty fucking funny) he got her pregnant too.

So that's a guy who's 21-22 now and has 3 with 3. Without the status of being a pro athlete or someone famous who can reel them in simply due to being rich and well-known.

Well being abe to reel them in isn't exactly a justification for doing it.

Not saying that. But you can understand at least the "why" that it happens when you're talking a dumbass pro athlete who's looking for action because he can and women who know that if they get knocked up, they're getting paid.

This is a dumbass dude from a rural area who's spraying babies into holes left and right despite not having anything to offer other than whatever gets taken out of his low-level factory job paycheck.

Travis Henry has 11 kids with 10 women. That's the most I've heard about.

Pryor cut by Seattle today.

Is this the end for him in the NFL. I would have though he would have at least attempted another position by now.

I'm surprised by the Pryor cut he looked good in the one preseason game I saw and seemed like a perfect backup for Russell Wilson
