Let me introduce to you, the "RIP" (Radically Invasive Projectile)

The manufacturer calls these "the last round you will ever need," designed to "take out all your vital organs," opening "nine separate wound channels" and making your guts explode beyond repair
Believeit or not, many people are outraged at this new ammo. I just don't get the argument. If a bullet is lethal, and a hollow point is "more lethal" Who gives a shit if a round liquifies your guts. It seems more humane to me.

No doubt.
Someone would def bet all they got and then do the shooting to rack in the vdollars!!

I think the "outrage" that some have is if you hit someone with this...they are dead. If you shoot someone with a regular bullet there is a much better chance they will survive. If you are in danger all you really need is for something to knock down the bad dude, and render him pretty much useless for awhile. Some say ya want to kill whomever, but the general thought is you want to eliminate the threat with the least possible force possible, and this bullet goes beyond that.

That is the point of anyone shooting anyone. You shoot to kill. You sound like one of the ignorant people that comment on how a cop should have just shot the guy in the leg or why didn't the cop shoot the gun out of his hand.

If you carry a gun, you make the decision that you are willing to kill anything that you point it at. No one should shoot to injure. If you just want to render someone useless for a while, carry a stun gun.

I am not one of them who say a cop should shoot to just maim the guy and stop him. There are those idiots out there, no doubt about that. You should for center mass.

And if any of us do need to use deadly force, yeah, killing the intruder/bad guy is what we reasonable expect when ya shoot someone. When I say render someone useless for awhile, I am meaning that it isnt until medical professionals get ahold of the person and stablize them....not just to subdue them for a little while.

I am just stating what I expect those who oppose this kind of ammo, yet for regular ammo, would have a problem with that it pretty much will kill the guy.

Love this... Liberal and Democrat wanting to ban lead bullets, closing down melting operations of lead manufacturing, “Green Bullet" ... sorry but this is America and America ingenuity has just replied to their stupidity. We as Americans will create a more deadly bullet, a different bullet, more effective bullet and make it out of something other than lead…
I’m sure this bullet was being developed for sometime and would have come into the public market anyways … but I find this interesting that it comes out now… "Don't Tread on Me"

Cops do not shoot to kill, they shoot to stop the threat. Shooting to kill assumes the cops continue shooting until the bad guy is dead, not until they are incapacitated etc.

If you make the decision to draw your weapon, you never point a loaded gun at anything you're not willing and able to kill.

Basic firearms rule.

over kill?

Seems to me that there could be a lot of collateral damage with fragments flying all over the place. Not a choice for law enforcement.

It's a 9mm round. Once it hits something and breaks apart, the 8 trocars loses too much energy to create an exit wound. They are designed to stay in the body.

If you look at the gel block when they shoot into it, the bullet travels a good 12" into it. The trocars only penetrate 5". It loses too much velocity.

Thanks...what about ricochets or shots that hit surfaces at an oblique angles...Like pavement or walls? Any additional dangers?

I would say no different that a shotgun shell.

I question how these are going to sell. They are prices at $44 for a box of 20. A little too pricy for me when you can get a box of 50 9mm hollow points for under $30.

Yeah, but these aint targer rounds. Even though they say you can shoot a group of them in 2 inces at 40 yards
If youre lucky, youll never have to shoot one.
