Hmmmm Normally if you think about a world-class hoax that this might be, you think some small backwater town.....and I don't think Gary, IN qualifies.

Interesting. Something like the oil could be faked/rigged and possibly fool police officers, but you wouldn't expect this women to have the means or know-how to do that (which isn't to say she doesn't have help).

The other thought that crosses my mind is maybe an elaborate promo for a movie, but you wouldn't expect official police records to be part of that even with a donation to the department.

He got new tenants?!? Would it be legal to advertise a house for rent with "tenants must be atheists that do not believe in the supernatural"?
