If that's your sole criterion, you rank Flacco and Dilfer ahead of Marino. You're really stupid.Tiernan;1575939 wrote:Is Doug Williams top 5 too? He has the same no. of SB wins Peyton has.

It's not the lack of super bowls, it's the fact he shits down his leg in big games too often to be considered GOAT. In today's NFL you are going to see passing records/points shattered on a regular basis.
If your life depended on it and you had to start one qb in a super bowl. Who would pick? Peyton? I doubt it. I'm glad he lost so maybe the media can quit riding his Jock

You're most likely trolling, but if your drunk ass actually believes this, you are dumber than I thought.Tiernan;1575986 wrote:Montana, Brady, Elway, Starr, Bradshaw, Aikman, Kelly...then MAYBE Peyton.

I believe after I substantially confirmed my ability to recognize NFL talent by being the ONLY OCer to predict a Seahawk blow-out AND my dead on prognostication of the number of Clowns wins...you of all people would appreciate how good I am. But the above QBs are indeed the best to ever play the game...exactly in that order. Marino is at best #10.like_that;1575991 wrote:You're most likely trolling, but if your drunk ass actually believes this, you are dumber than I thought.

If you make enough different predictions, one of them is bound to be right.Tiernan;1576030 wrote:See Post #826 in the 2014 Play Offs thread dipshit.
But then again, I bet it is hard to remember anything you say when you're always drunk.

But I digress...the discussion was QBs and because they were WINNERS both Unitas and Namath are ahead of Marino. Stats are stats, they look good on paper but I've never seen a stat sheet hanging in a trophy case. You gotta put hardware behind the glass before you are truly one of the immortals.

I agreed. I would expect his numbers to be a little down from the regular season because of weather and playing the best teams in the playoffs, but his numbers are just way off. If you are 3:1 in the regular season in TD/INT, I can maybe see 2:1 come playoff time, and look at his record...amazing win % in the regular season but below in the playoffs.pmoney25;1575981 wrote:It's not the lack of super bowls, it's the fact he shits down his leg in big games too often to be considered GOAT. I am a manning fan, was hoping he would win, but his postseason numbers are just too far off from the regular season to be considered the best of all time. Top 5 def, probably top3

Oh, is that why you had Kelly ranked ahead of Manning? LOLTiernan;1576128 wrote:But I digress...the discussion was QBs and because they were WINNERS both Unitas and Namath are ahead of Marino. In a 22 starter sport, you are trying to base one positions immortality on rings? You do realize how retarded you sound? Well you always sound retarded, so I guess that's nothing new.Tiernan;1576128 wrote:You gotta put hardware behind the glass before you are truly one of the immortals.

Not rings dumbass...championships and those might be just getting to the SB like Kelly did 4 straight times. I'm right again because I'm smarter than you Durkie - give it up loser.

You get rings for championships dumbass. Not winning a title doesn't take away or make you a different person. Hell Brady wouldn't have gotten his first ring if that bullshit tuck rule wouldn't have come into play. Keep trying deadbeat you are wrong once again
