Lol, we need to iron out lots of things for next year.
Yeah I didn't think you could move players around.
If your C gets hurt, you need to replace him wtih a C. If your F gets hurt, you need to replace him with a F.
If your utility player gets hurt, you can replace him with anything.

I recall that conversation, but the reason I said it is, I'm pretty sure it's been done a few times with subs already, so hard to say if it should be enforced for S&L now.

I havent checked anyone's subs, so I dunno.
I do know I put Harris as my UTL cause he was most injury probe in team and wanted the ability to replace with any position. Either way, drafting for flexibility is cool (like I have Markel Brown as a F...), but once the lineup is set, that's their position, IMO.

S&L is right. The only players on your team that you do not have to replace with a player of the same position are the utility guys. If a forward or guard (non-utility) on your roster is injured, however, you must replace that player with a player of the same position.
I tried to re-rearrange my roster to include Elijah Pittman and it was not allowed. I'm pretty sure that rule was established early.

Hard to complain about 253 through 8 games. Dejean-Jones already sitting at 14 in the first half. Can't ask for a much better first part of the week.

Shannon Scott as my homer pick is what will do me in this year. Money is on the line, shouldn't do shit like that, lol.

Treveon Graham follows up a solid day of 48 Fpts (in 44 minutes and had 4 fouls) on Saturday with a nice 13 Fpts (in 15 mins with 0 fouls) on Wednesday night. I hate you Shaka Smart.
201 pts in 8 games.

Are they any new rules for the Playoffs? We can cut a player? Starting lineup for the week shrinks? Fantasy scoring average instead of total number? Poach off of CCR's team?
I am cool with anything except last place finishes in each of the next two weeks.

When's the last week of the regular season for us? My best players game was PPD last night and rescheduled to Feb 10th. Have a feeling, unless I make playoffs, that I'll be missing out on that game.

Last week is next week. So you will miss that game for the regular season. But if you make the playoffs you'll have that extra game for the quarterfinals.birddog23;1574138 wrote:When's the last week of the regular season for us? As for me I'm at 209.75 after 8 games. Had 6 games last night and all were over 26 points but one at 21.

178.75 through 7.
196.75 if Hollins doesn't play Saturday. I'm hoping he doesn't, unless he goes for 40, just so I can get an extra game.

Also as for the Sub/Roster thing.... I thought we were allowed to move players around on our roster but once the week has started, however your lineup is set for that week is how it goes for that week. So if you have a guy set as a F and he gets injured you have to replace him with a F but next week you could put him(or the sub) as a ulitity player in case the sub gets injured or after the drafted comes back he gets injured again.(I think Laley did it with Harris and Azu did this with Edwin).
Either way S&L found a nice replacement C since it was his WC.

I agree with the moving around, and the only argument against it was the rule wasn't set BEFORE the draft. It wouldn't be a big deal, because it's just a technicality at this point, but people weren't necessarily aware of it and thus, guys with multiple positions (G/F, F/C) would've been more sought after. Also, people may have drafted a backup at positions.
As for the playoffs, I don't really care at all. To be fair, we should probably just go based on how we've done it all year. People had to make up for less and more games each week, which can be a big discrepency in your weekly points. To change it now would be somewhat unfair to those it would be detrimental.
The ONLY suggestion that seems somewhat plausible would be to like drop your bottom 2 guys and not allow any subs for that week or something. Even that though, could alter the structure which would basically require a consensus from people to move forward. If even one team from the playoffs didn't want it, I wouldn't really want to make any changes.

Killian Larson, my sub for Alec Brown, has 26 and 19. Meaning, Alec Brown will be back this weekend like a douche.

Not to belabor a point, but, with regard to the moving players around thing, we pretty much ironed it out on page 12 of the original fantasy thread, when I tried to move one of my position players to a utility spot to make my lineup work: http://www.ohiochatter.com/forum/showthread.php?42497-2013-2014-OC-Fantasy-College-Basketball/page12
My attempt was denied by everyone. Perhaps I am confused as to what is actually being argued, though. It's all sort of confusing.

But, as Az said, the season's almost over, so it doesn't matter at this point. I just am confused, I think.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that point was completely ironed out before your situation came up. Maybe we're both confused about the argument.reclegend22;1574578 wrote:Not to belabor a point, but, with regard to the moving players around thing, we pretty much ironed it out on page 12 of the original fantasy thread, when I tried to move one of my position players to a utility spot to make my lineup work: http://www.ohiochatter.com/forum/showthread.php?42497-2013-2014-OC-Fantasy-College-Basketball/page12

I definitely remember seeing a reminder to finalize your lineups by the end of week 1, because it would be locked after that point.

Which is why I am sort of confused as to why everyone has changed their minds on the matter all of a sudden.Mulva;1574588 wrote:Yeah, I'm pretty sure that point was completely ironed out before your situation came up. Maybe we're both confused about the argument.
