Not many in the paper either...I wonder why coaches don't call them in ?

Only have to email them these days.
i used to have every thing typed out and saved as a word document. When the match ended, and my brother was communicating the positives and negatives, along with tearing down the gym, I would enter results, and send.

Why didn't you stop and say Hi? I was running one of the scoreboards, and did the PA duties beforehand...Cthelites;1568221 wrote:Missed seeing u at the canal dad.

Coaches need to step and call them in properly. The blame game on the Dispatch is getting old , most OCC coaches have 3-4 coaches the head coach should delegate to one of his asst coaches and have him do it.cruiser_96;1568195 wrote:Only have to email them these days.

kids train and work there tails off all week , then never get any recognition. If you are the visiting team, you should plan on calling in the results, it seems like if the home team gets beat or smashed they never call the in.
I wonder if AD's and principals know that schools aren't calling them in ???
And before everyone starts crying and saying they did call them in, it's the Dispatch fault...well you can go on line and check out the scores and see who called them in , who called them improperly and who didn't call them in at all.

Or a stat.
Believe be it or not, some kids enjoy being giving a task and completing it.

Coaches you can use Trackwrestling through the nwcaonline site to do your stats. You can download the program onto a laptop, tablet or cell phone and if you have an internet connection in your school you can have someone stating the match live during the meet. Or you can download your event and stat it offline then once you have a connection you can sync your results to the online database. If you want you can have the results emailed to the dispatch or anyone else you want to send it to once you’re finished. I’ve been using it for a few years now and I love the program. Once you’re on the schedule page just click on trackwrestling and you can find more information on how to use the program.

Yea...me too! I wanted to touch base with you to see how your older boy is making out at OSU. Looks like your younger wrestler is a stud in the making...Darby has some tough kids. It's hard to watch the fall of Canal Winchester...really hard to fathom where this program was just a couple of short years ago. When you have a program start fresh like they did at CW, you don't have the "tradition" to fall back on when you inevitably experience a lean year or two.Cthelites;1568514 wrote:Really.

Coach Brooks has done a fabulous job at CW, but the "pipeline" of kids just seemed to dry up all at once.

I'm sure the OCC schedule has something to do with canals demise. I believe their football team had a wake up call as
well.

No...unfortunately, the OCC has not had anything to do with things. The Indians have only been able to field a skeleton line-up the past two seasons...no way to ever compete in a dual meet giving up 6-8 forfeits. Only a very small number of kids in the room...experienced wrestlers are almost non-existent (now only 2 remain).lennyrox55;1569094 wrote:.
