I will never understand the lack of motivation to promote their tournament. And making results known to the public is part of that. (ps: stay tuned for 01/19 or 20. TCI112in84;1566356 wrote:Nice job posting the results , cruiser_96
"their" in this case refers to any tournament director/coach who could/should. No one person or team in particular.

Some good wrestling on Saturday... Some thoughts:
A really nice lineup of schools. The 3 Hilliards, Mount Vernon, Teays Valley, Lancaster and Grove City all had some really good wrestlers, spread out across the weight classes. I felt bad for Walnut Ridge, so many other good schools, they were just out of their depth here.
Placers
Trent Gill looks worthy of the rankings.
Austin Rayburn and Quentin Thatcher, 2 Darby freshman, were impressive. Rayburn lost only 4-0 to Luke Nace, and took 3rd, and Thatcher beat Will Stratton of Bradley, and pinned Kyle Dooley of Teays Valley, losing only to Bobby Smith(who looked very very good).
Zach Garrett should make some noise at districts, with a very nice tournament win here.
I think this was my first time seeing Lane Hinkle, and he was the real deal as well.
It's too bad Sean Black was not able to wrestle, would have been good to see him up against Deluse and Driscoll
Trevor Parker continues to improve, every win a MD or better.
Kinzer of Teays Valley is a beast! Every win a pin, 4 of the 5 in the first minute!
On the middle school side, Marysville was dominant, the pipeline will continue for them!

Nice observations HDad!
would have also liked to have seen Donatelli go against Stratton/DeLuse too.
Darby just can't seem to put a full line up together.
saw 3 starters there on crutches and another in a sling...that's not even counting the previously mentioned 2 that couldn't go sat.

Also on the format change from brackets to pools to brackets.
i wonder if coach Riggs will stick with it.
its always great time wise to go with a straight 8 man bracket cause you r done and out quickly.
not always the best maximized point use tho where there were some byes in there in the past so if you made to the final you could only be getting two-3 matches max.
i like the pools just for the plain fact you are getting 5 matches.
not sure how Riggs like getting out of there late tho haha.
maybe run a mat or two in the aux gym???
as always another great well run tourney in Hilliard.
it was great to see some old friends.
