It allows me to throw extra food away, so there's that.

What was your point again?
I did 120 miles per day for seven years ..... What a waste of my time

Had to run the car for a bit to thaw the door enough to re-close it. Man I hope the interstates are good for my trip to Lansing tomorrow

Contemplating being a wimp and calling in and blaming it on the car not starting here in a few hours.

Complete BS Champaign county being lvl 2. Sure roads are icy but you can safely get around as long as you drive slow.

If some of ya have not gone anywhere the past couple days ya still may wanna go start your car and let it run for a few minutes. The Jeepster is turning over slooow in this cold.

It's because in these temps the salt is not working

First time ever Toledo received 8" snows within 4 days of each other. The Dec 31-Jan 2 event dropped 10" and this one dropped another 13", we're already at 34.1" this winter which is only 3" away from our average. To crack the top 10 we'll need 51.9" and 73.1" to break the all time record set in 77-78

^^^That's okay, those are records that don't need to be broken.

Ha from what I've heard, we may make a run at it. We have about two full months left, that's 64" if things return to average, if things get overly active we're seeing that record come down. 34" already is insane, and it's a shame our road crews are so inept for it. No reason all roads remain this bad

Agreed, and along those lines, there's no reason for us to still be at Level 3 either.

Yeah, 23" of snow, winds in the 30s, and temps in the negative teens. No reason!
