Embarassing for Cincy and Indy. Can't blame GB fans for not wanting to go and sit in -5 degree weather. Not sure how you could even enjoy the game in that weather.

I don't believe the NFL

None of these will happen (would guess Indy if there was going to be one)

My daughter's boyfriend's Dad just bought 6 tickets at $114 each and I 'll assume each has tax or extra charges....mixed with tailgating, parking, gas and concessions they are looking at $1,000. Surprised as he is typically pretty tight.

And the last number I saw had Cincy needing only 3,000 more sold.

You have to figure if they get close, the teams or somebody will buy them to prevent the embarrassment.

Are the tickets overpriced,.... the at- home viewing experience so good with large screen HD TV's, ....or the NFL's 'product' (with the new safety rules unevenly enforced) not what it once was? I would have thought that maybe some combination of the first two, but I have come across a number of people who really don';t like the NFL like they used to...much prefer the college game.

Assuming that its because its the middle of Winter, and Cincinnati is going to be blasted with "White Death" on Sunday.

But at the same time, why pay for a ticket to freeze your ass off, when you can kick back in the recliner, have unlimited beer, all the food you can eat, and still come out paying less than you would for the ticket. Not to mention skip hypothermia.

At those prices? Sorry, disagree. For the money (none), better experience in my family room.

^^^^provided the game gets sold out....8 hours left. Good chance the the TV station that has local rights will buy the last few if they can get close as they stand to make a lot of money broadcasting the game. But NFL playoff game tickets have to be sold at full price....so 500 tickets cost upwards of $60,000.

Not only that the Packer fans are not optimistic for a win.

All the teams will be given extensions to sell the tickets.

Meijer bought the remaining 1200 of the Indy tickets....they are good to go.

Green Bay is under 1,000 needed

Bengals won't announce how many are left but say they are in the Red Zone

Kroger bought out the Cincy tickets, and are giving them to military personnel and veterans, I believe.

They bought out the rest? I thought they bought a bunch a couple days ago for the military?.....then Meijer copied for Indy

I saw that Kroger bought some, but not that they bought the balance.

This looks to be the case. A lot of different reports on Twitter, but it seems they still need to sell some by the 4pm deadline.

officially a sellout at all 3 venues...finally found a link.

http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2014/01/03/nfl-rule-may-blackout-packers-bengals-playoff-games

Packers and Colts were sold out earlier today...apparently the Bengals game went down to the wire.

I honestly credit Jeff Ruby for this. He bought 100 tickets and said he was donating them to military families and urged other local businesses to do the same. They may have done it anyways. But Ruby was the first one to pony up his own money to do it and donate it to vets.

I hope the veterans are more excited about watching football in the freezing cold rain/snow than it actually sounds.

I know I'd be OK with it if it were free. I wouldn't pay to do it. But if someone offered me a free ticket to a playoff game, I'd go.

A Bengals season ticket holder called 610 yesterday. Apparently to buy first round tickets you have to put a full price deposit down for the championship game. $400 for 2 tix to the first round game
Ugh
