Nebraska looked pretty darn good, they could be a very good team in 2010.

I agree. The Huskers should start out in the Top 10 next year, and would be my pick (pre-season) to be the Big 12 champion. A solid defense can carry a team (just look at the Buckeyes). The only thing that jumped out at me last night was the qb play. Lee looked good, I just don't know if he's the answer. However, running that option means you don't have to throw 20-25 times a game, and you can give him "safer" throws in the playcalling.Citybuck wrote: Nebraska looked pretty darn good, they could be a very good team in 2010.

They are returning 10 of 11 on offense and 6 of 11 on Defense. They have another 5 or 6 guys that either started some games, or played considerably on defense that should fill in nicely.
The announcers were saying last night that Pelini was telling them in the pre-game interviews that the team will be 5x better than they were this year, and even better as a whole defensively.

Nebraska was relentless on the defensive side of the football and Arizona could never get it going. The Huskers should be good again next year

Nebraska's D is for real- never see them miss a tackle, dominant up front. Pelini has made a huge difference in that program, and I think he helped LSU get over the top in '07.

Well, he's from Cardinal Mooney, my second home. What do you expect?

So were Mike and Mark Stoops on Arizona's sidelines. They apparently didn't get it doneStrapping Young Lad wrote: Well, he's from Cardinal Mooney, my second home. What do you expect?

Funny how you don't hear much about Pelini being an OSU alum, since you know that's where he learned everything he knows about great football.
