I'll second this. In Lexington, KY, Josie's has great breakfast and their spicy burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had.

Am a big fan of The Lockview (downtown, across from Lock 3) in Akron. Fried mac and cheese, fried pepperoni, specialized grilled cheese sandwiches, huge microbrew selection (150+) as well as other good wines and top shelf liquors. Only thing I'm not really a fan of is the hipster-ish feel. No clue if its true or not, but I heard Melt was actually started by a guy who left Lockview.

another that is pretty well known in Akron, but I'm not sure outside of it is Mr. Zubs (Highland Square). Deli type restaurant that has a bunch of interesting sandwiches. http://thematinee.net/

Then there is the Diamond Deli (downtown) that is really popular as well, but I have to admit that I'm not much of a fan of it.

Olde Village Diner in Pickerington. Amazing club sandwich.
We were at La Fogata two weekends ago and really enjoyed it. Good food, great service, and the beer was ice cold. We'll definitely go back.

Where on 62 in Johnstown is that? I drive around there every once in a while and might stop in to try them out.

Good call. Loved going to The Lockview when I went to Akron. Never really got into the Goldfish as a side to your sandwich though. I know you could sub it out, just found that odd.

Went to Asheville, NC earlier this month, between the Biltmore Estate and downtown there was a great breakfast placed called Biscuit Head.

Hodges is very good. My friends and I decided to try out as many of the best burger places on "Akron/Canton Hot List" as possible, and that was one of them.

Love Lockview (their quesadilla and fried pepperoni are my faves) and Zubs. I have never had Diamond Deli, because nothing on their menu appeals to me. I do know the owner, and he is a nice guy.

Larry's Main Entrance in Akron has really great burgers, and they are all half off on Mondays. My old roommates and I love it there, but no one else seems to know about it.

If wanting good pizza in St Paris go to Freddy's. At Urbana go to Sparky's. They are both owned by the same guy.

Originally Michaels pizza.

Pick 6 and Fab4....

thanks for the tip on Lockview and Zubs....I will have to try them.

Where do you guys like to get Mexican? ...always a favorite in our family. Our fave is Casa Del Rio in Wadsworth I-76 and 94. The think the same people own El Jalepenos in Barberton but it's not quite the same.
