Is there a team more poorly coached than Washington State?

Up 35-20 with 30 seconds left in the first half, on their own 12, 3rd and 10, they throw it. CSU gets it back and gets a FG before half.

Up 45-37, no timeouts for CSU, 1st and 10, 2 minutes left. QB scrambles, gets stripped and CSU recovers. They reverse the call and give it back to WSU. NEXT PLAY, Wazzou RB fumbles it and CSU recovers. The clock was winding, no timeouts for CSU, and they hike it with 21 on the play clock.

TD CSU, now 45-43. Going for 2 to tie it.

This is one of the most epic meltdowns in the last 2 minutes of a football game I can remember.

LOL, betting 100 on two shitty ass teams. He'd fit in well on this forum...

Nope.

In terms of the Wazzou game, couldn't have happened to a better person in Leach.

I'm not sure if you can blame coaching for the team fumbling two times in a row. I watched that Eastern Washington-Townson game (streak for the cash reasons) and Eastern Washington has terrible coaching, at least in that game they did. I didn't watch much of the New Mexico Bowl though, so I can not comment much on the coaching.

Down 24-21, Tulane misses the game tying field goal.

On 3rd down. With 13 seconds left.

One of the worst coaching decisions I've ever seen. Even if you don't think you can get a TD, try to throw for a first down. Clock stops, spike the ball, kick the FG. Not going to take 12 seconds to get a 12 yard play.

I think they had more confidence in their Kicker(Lou Groza Award winner last season) than they had in their QB/OL. They got sacked on the previous possession and lost a lot of yardage because of it. Ed Cunningham was saying the same thing as you and then Mike Patrick brought up the possibility of getting sacked again.

(Apologies if you were able to hear them)

Game was on mute. But I would disagree with Mike Patrick roughly 100% of the time anyway. If you don't have a QB capable of throwing the ball away on 3rd down if he's in danger of a sack, then you don't belong in a bowl game.

Did they have any timeouts? I am okay with them kicking it on 3rd down if they didn't have any timeouts. If you take a sack, complete a pass on the field short of a first down, or get intentional grounding, the game is over.

That was a home game for Tulane too, so it's not completely crazy for a home team to play for OT knowing they have the momentum/crowd and whatnot.

OU busses down students (usually 5-15 busses full of students) to the bowl game...started my senior year at OU.

This year apparently a kid was arrested in St Petersburg Sunday night, and when the busses were leaving Monday, they stopped by the county jailhouse to pick him up...he came out to 6 busses of screaming students.

Awesome

Max Bullough the All - B1G LB from Michigan State has been suspended for the Rose Bowl. MSU fans were all over Shazier during the Championship game claiming Bullough was better...Karma's a bitch assholes.

Heading up to Detroit soon for the game. Hopefully the Falcons can finally bring one home for the MAC, I think it'll be tough but the Falcons should have just enough offense and balance on D to get by. Pitt has been kinda weird this season, lost a few close ones, and beat Notre Dame so who knows. I think if that pass rush can be contained then BG will take it

Aaron Donald will be the challenge for the Falcons unless they get into their quick game.

I think BG, NIU, and Ball St will win. Thought Buffalo and OU would lose as well.
