Haha! I was joking about the 3-pt signal (assumed the camera just didn't pick it up).

Learned something I guess. I kind of understand the logic, but a somewhat bizarre rule. Not sure I agree with it.

Well, I left it in the car. But, what I was thinking of only applies to a shot that bounces, apparently (like a full court shot).

What the guy who was "teaching" us said you only get awarded 3 pts for a try towards goal from behind the arc. Because that wasnt a try, it wouldnt be awarded 3pts.

Doesn't have to be a try (unless you're talking about the bouncing).
