It is pretty easy if you have a decent mask and snorkel and know how to swim. They usually picked it up in about 20-30 minutes so I would think an adult, who can swim and isnt a ***** should be able to learn how to snorkel in ten minutes or less.

I had never snorkled before in my life and picked it up in about 1 minute in Hawaii. Yeah, it is pretty easy especially for adults. But then again.....I have always been around it and most of my adults fam/friends have as well and it is just second nature.
I could see though if someone isnt very comfortable in the water that it may take them 10 minutes or so.
