It was right in front of me. The Clemson 2PT conversion was a "floater". KG's pass was NOT a floater. I wish I could find video of it.

Without a doubt that first one was a floater. Had he fired it in there would've been complete.

And comparing it to a pass by a WR, really isn't accomplishing your point.

In games like that You Run What You Brung and right or wrong Urbie had gone with BM all season and that's who you go with hands down.

Guiton pass wasn't a floater, a little late, but not a floater. Doubt anyone completes that pass. Braxton would've thrown it into the stands.

Look. KG's success this year came in games where he could air the ball vertically because his WR were the fastest guys on the field. That is why he looked so good and put up such big numbers. He would not be able to do that against a team like Clemson because our WR have problems getting open and he would have to zip into a lot of tight windows.

I'm not even sure the Buckeyes practiced over the break. They looked like the exact same team they were against MSU.

I think it was a late through and forced when he threw it, but I don't consider it a floater.

No offense to what you believe is and is not accomplishing my point, but I am not arguing that Guiton made a good play, I was merely showing a throw I believe to be a "floater". The fact that it is a RB and not a QB, changes nothing. One is IMO a floater, the other is a forced/late throw.

How many balls did Braxton put in tight places. Kenny easily throws both TD's that Miller did, and probably a 3rd one to Philly.

And 5 picks. Braxton threw a few balls on a rope to wr coming open over the middle. That 1st down to Vannett was into a very tight window

How exactly is he overrated? He is what he is. A player who has guided OSU to a 24-2 record. He will end up as OSU all time leading QB and shatter OSU all time yardage records as well. Is he a great passer? No, not yet. But he has done nothing but gotten better each year. And I expect him to take another leap next year as well. When someone like Meyer says he is the most dynamic player he has ever coached, I think I'll take his word for it.

He finished 9th in Heisman voting, and was considered one of the favorites heading into the season. Which he will be again. He's nowhere near that good of a player. He could make a Carlos Hyde jump next season, but for now? Come on.

He's a good player. He just isn't the stud a lot of fans/media try to make him out as. T Smith and Pryor were both far better QBs, in my opinion. But the schedule is weak enough again next year that the only real challenge should be @ MSU. Win that one, and they'll be playoff bound. No reason to wish Braxton to leave to throw a freshman in there when the situation is what it is.
