Has recruiting ties to Texas, that's the most important thing.

Wondered why we hadn't seem him this year. He looked pretty decent last year. Sounds like he will be a GA.

What a shame....I was really excited when he and Mitchell committed to OSU. I figured those would be 3 of our 3 LB's for a few years.

Did the real reason Mitchell left ever come out? Just couldn't hack it at OSU?

From what I heard from a pretty reliable source, is that was just it, couldn't hack or deal with the intensity, expectations and demands that Urban puts on players. Its not for everyone.

@BradBiggs: NFL source says #Bears are expected to hire Stan Drayton as running backs coach. He has served in that role at Ohio State.

Good for him.

Glad he waited until after signing day. Hopefully Urban will be able to keep Kareem Walker committed.

Owell. Weber was thinking about flipping to UM on signing day. He'd have left osu no time to find someone else. Would that have been fair? Yes because it's recruiting and that's how this works. He took a secret visit to UM last week... should be hold it against him??

Did UM tell their qb recruits they were bringing in a transfer??

People get so bent out of shape about recruiting. Why?? It's cutthroat. That's how this works..

If Weber is upset, I'll support the signing of the release form to go to Michigan. Not sure why he'd want to go 0-4 against OSU in his career and never win anything but if that's what he wants who am I to stop him.

I have faith in Urban that he will hire an equally good RB coach.....

This is exactly why kids need to pick a school for the University and for the program....NOT for a specific coach.

Unconfirmed rumblings that an Ohio State BEAT WRITER knew the RB coach was leaving, but held off on reporting it so not to lose Mike Weber.

I mostly agree. But your position coach is certainly one of many things you evaluate at each school.
