Patriots defense really had no answer for Cameron. Also thought they did a good job of keeping Gordon in check until he smoked Talib. Seemed fitting that Cleveland got a TD on a Talib penalty where he took himself out of the play.

That was a text book tackle. Nothing dirty about it at all.

When your season is over (not going to the playoffs), and you get a game taken away from you like that, you have to find some silver linings. You will figure it out once your pretty boy QB is out of the league. Then again, 90% of Pats fans were never fans until Brady was discovered, so I won't be surprised if a good portion of that fanbase ceases to exist when that franchise comes down to earth.

"keeping Gordon in check" was something Talib did not even come close to doing. Imagine if Gordon had a real QB, talib would have been the bitch boy of the game.

From what I saw it looked liked the defender interfered in the end zone.

Okay, I don't really follow the NFL (aside from my fantasy team, which benefited greatly from this call) and even I am saying that wasn't PI.

Then there should have been about 20 more PI calls in that game if you actually think that is PI LOL.

I know it's not illegal. In general i think it's dirty to take a guys knees out like that, but the NFL rules are the reason they guys get getting their knees blown out. You go high you get flagged. Edelman got hit shoulder to shoulder in the ednzone, legal hit, was flagged. So of course guys are going to go low.

When the Browns start having winning seasons, I'll be sure to call every one of their fans bandwagon.

Talib looked slow against Gordon, but until he busted out for the 80 yard TD i think he was on 3 catches for 43 yards. He definitely took the penalty yards over Gordon burning him.

Guys don't want a penalty so they throw dirty hits into receivers knees. Honestly thought it was a dirty hit, but the NFL rules have caused this.
LOL...dirty hit. This is going on at full speed, Gronk is running free in the secondary, you can't hit him high( as evidenced by the personal foul call in the endzone with a minute left.)....where else are you going to hit him? I agree that the NFL rules are partly to blamwe, but dirty hit?... NO.

I'm beginning to hate the NFL. You might as well put flags on the QB's and receivers. It seems like more and more officials arbitrary calls or non calls are influencing the outcome of games.

The officiating at this game was disgustingly bad. Replays overturned at least two calls on the field and if some of those penalty calls could have been reviewed, they would have been overturned also. Was there an offensive holding call the whole game? The Patriots may have won that game anyway, but Tom Brady certainly doesn't need the help of the Zebras.

The NFL, NCAA, NFHS, legal counsel has determined that knee injuries can be fixed, head injuries can not.
They believe it is better to limp at age 45 than to not remember who you are.

Wow the Pats are gifted a win they didn't deserve and the board's resident pats fan comes on to talk shit? LOL

You shouldn't be talking shit to browns fan, should highlighting the fact that without a gift BS call (not my perspective, that's everyone in the world's perspective) then the patriots only score 20 pts and allow 26 to one of the worst offenses in the league with 0, yes Z-E-R-O running game, Jason Campbell at QB (LOL) and no #2 WR that's worth anything. Basically the patriots def had to stop 1 guy and they couldn't do it. LMAO, can't wait to see you bums bounced in the first round and ESPN talking about Brady choking/not having it/losing the big games since 2004. Patriots are pretenders.

Josh Gordon ran the train on Talib...with Jason Campbell throwing to him LOL. Would have been much worse if Campbell got him the ball more (he was open a lot).

In my opinion, there is no bad call when it goes against the browns.

Thankfully their loss took the sting out of the steelers debacl yesterday

Lol...this is quite sad if a woeful browns team makes you feel better about the Steelers being eliminated. I hope your wife beats you tonight

Yup. Definitely a dirty hit but the NFL cares more about avoiding concussions in a contact sport than ending careers with dirty knee hits.

This. Once he saw that the pass was incomplete then he threw the flag. The guy needs to be banned.

the Browns losing a meaningless game took the sting out of Pittsburgh being eliminated from the playoffs? Truly pathetic

That is the only way for DBs to hit monsters like Gronk. You go high and get ran the fuck over. I think Ward hits him down low no matter what the rules are.

I lol'd.

Once the Steelers lost I didn't really give a fuck about anything else football. Seeing the Browns lose on that made me give a smile while SMH just kinda thinking about how the football gods keep finding ways to shit on the Browns....it's really hard to believe......but it didn't make me feel any better....and if it would've the GD Ravens pulling everything out would've more than cancelled it.

I just wanted a shot at the playoffs (it's ridiculously not as crazy as you might think, but I also know better)

Also....fuck the Jets.
