Mr. and Mrs. Smith - 6.5/10. First time seeing it...it was entertaining. Brad Pitt looked good.

Yes, I bumped it up 2 points for excessive nudity. Beyond that, story and flow was not very good. DiCaprio was believable, but content was meh.

Django: 7.2/10. Very good and entertaining flick.

Fair enough. Different strokes, I suppose.

The Interview solid 7.8/10. I liked this is the end better but it was still funny.

I wasn't a huge fan either. It was fun until he started to go crazy, then I sort of DGAF after that.

Admittedly, it did go too long. I mean, that was the real-life timeline (with some artistic license, I'm sure), but yeah, they probably should have ended the movie when he took the crazy aged pills.

I thought Franco's character was intended to be what he was. Still, I thought the ending was too cheesy, even for such a sacrilegious film. 7/10.

Showgirls: 3/10

Elizabeth Berkley n00d in Showgirls (thinking of her as Jessie Spano): 11/10

I'd take that lap dance from Jessie Spano, Kelly Kapowski, Tori Scott, Stacey Carosi, Violet Bickerstaff, and Lisa Turtle any day of the week, though.

Freshmen Year in college we all watched Showgirls in the dorm Common area. We probably re watched the sex scene in the pool about 30x all while laughing because she just flops around like a dead fish.

Worst movie I've ever seen of his by far. I don't think I finished it.

The Hobbit: BOTFA. 7/10, but that's pushing it.

Went to finally watch this News Years Day. First film I've seen in 3D as well. I enjoyed it, but the battle scene was incredibly drawn out, and having just finished the book a week ago, the end of this story was fresh in my memory. Bilbo was, in no way, involved in this battle. He had his ring on and was hit on the head by a falling rock, then woke up when it was all over. Despite the many inadequacies in this film, it was the most entertaining of the three.

Gone Girl 8.5/10. I can't remember anymore what people didn't like about it, but I couldn't find anything. Definitely some holes in Amy's story that would've been exposed, but I didn't really mind.

The Gambler. 5/10. Very slow, way too much over the top dialogue, and a really annoying sports betting scene

Unbroken 7/10 didn't really live up to the book but if I hadn't read the book and known the story I probably would have enjoyed it more.

i can't wait for American Sniper though.

This is good to know. I had been looking forward to seeing this. I still probably will, but I will be able to go in with tempered expectations.

I like Michael Cain, so I'll have to check it out.

Putlocker is my go-to for films. Will look it up.
