Was wondering while watching it if the next season was going to be totally new storylines like American Horror Story or a continuation of this story. After seeing the end I'm guessing it's going to be a continuation.
YEah I think you're probably right, which sort of ruins it to me. I wish they went entirely new route instead.

Kung Fu Panda 3, 7/10 - Meh, easily the "worst" of the three. Still a good kids movie, but it's run it's course. Overall, I've enjoyed this series and my favorite is still the first one. The scene where the villain escapes prison is still the most badass animated action sequence ever (I don't care if you don't agree, fight me!).

How to Be Single, 6/10 - Watched it for the lulz, left with the feels. The ending was quite sad, and kind of touched home for my wife. I won't spoil it just in case anyone actually rents this flick, but at one point I look over at my wife and she's balling her eyes out. It's funny how a movie filled with dick jokes can make you feel emotional, haha. Overall, a decent lazy Sunda movie.

This will make us all feel old! Went to a Charlotte Knights game yesterday afternoon and they were celebrating the 20th Anniversary of SpaceJam. They had Muggsy Bogues there to celebrating by throwing out the first pitch and signing autographs. When you see him in person, it makes it even more amazing how he was able to play in the NBA at 5' 3". My 10 yr old daughter is almost as tall as him.

With that, after the game, the family went home and watched SpaceJam again and it is still a 10/10!

I do hope the rumors are true of a SpaceJam 2 in the works with Lebron being in it.

Suicide squad 6/10. Corny, didn't like the lead military guy...(played Conway in House of Cards) or the witch lady. Both bad cheesy actors with corny lines

The Shallows - 6.5/10. About what I expected

Saw Suicide Squad this past weekend... I'd give it a 6/10. I just wish there was more back story on some of the characters hopefully some of them can get their own movie.

Also finally watched KidPoker on Netflix. Pretty cool documentary about Daniel Negreanu. I'd give it 8/10

Yeah, DC has messed this up so far, really other than Man of Steel they have not gone and done any solo movies for backstories yet. I know Wonder Woman is coming out and it looks amazing, but they jumped right into Suicide Squad where the casual fan only knew the Joker and that was it.

If it wasn't for Robbie's portrayal of Harley Quinn (she did a fine acting job) I don't know if Suicide Squad would have been over a 5, but I give it a 6 or 7 myself.

The witch could have been SO much better. What a powerful character that could have had a better acting job and its own background story...of course I have said the same thing for Scarlet Witch in Marvel. Insanely powerful in the comics and they have yet to really touch on her in the movies.

I watched this movie sober, thought it was meh. I probably would've liked it better high.

I couldn't believe they tried to spin it to where you felt bad for her because of her living situation. It was definitely the type of story where there was no one to root for.

Now You See Me 2 -- 6.5/10

The climax had so many tricks inside tricks, which made it sort of entertaining. Wasn't as good as the first. I might still watch it again, but it lacked the "how'd they do that" as a major element.

My guess is that this one will be sort of like Ocean's Twelve. Entertaining enough, but for the most part, it won't stand up to the first one or (assuming they make it) the third one.

Sully was a very good movie. Went by very quickly! Watching it over 9/11 weekend and seeing his 'daydreams' seemed...a bit surreal.

One thing that popped into my mind was when ++++spoiler alert+++++ he was rescued from the wreckage and was looking at the plane I kept thinking of him saying "There's my plane" in his Gump voice! I know..hilarious.

Very solid movie.

I forgot that I saw 31 by Rob Zombie a couple weeks ago. It was fucking terrible, which we fully expected going in. I didn't hate it, though. The best line was, "I'm going to fuck all your holes." Mantooth and I laughed out loud several times.
