POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT::::and to be first to say it......TL;DR.
As I stated already, great, great movie. There were some differences from the book and you can things online about it.

My thoughts:
-was great to see Marcus was actually in the movie. In all the things I had read and heard I didnt know he was actually going to be in it in a few scenes. I think he wanted to be in the chopper in the movie what went down, because as he has said before, he died a bit on that mountain that day.
-Others bring up the last battle did not happen. Correct. It didnt. He was in teh village for around 4 days and in the movie it didnt show seem like it (time constraints). They moved him from house to house to house. The Taliban did come and look for him. Often. They interrogated and beat teh fuck out of him before the village elder put a stop to it. While the final battle didnt happen, the taliban was reported to be planning and staging a possible attack on the village to get him, and/or to ambush the US forces coming to look. Then the Rangers found him, outside, in the woods they did have the gunships soften the target in the woods outside the village to bomb teh fuck out of any and all taliban who were ready to come into the village. Marcus saw that they were ready to fight to the death to protect him. So yes bombs flew at the end, but not in a just-in-time assualt. I was OK with it I guess, made the movie 'end' with a bang.
-Yes, those villagers really protected him because of their 2000 y r old tradition to protect whomever they take in. It was contentious and not everyone wanted to give him Lohkay, pashtuwalli (SP?) but the village elder granted it to him.
-One thing I dont know why is when Marcus was on the medevac they put on screen "3 days earlier". Was I missing something? The time from the battle to rescue was 6 days.
-They showed marcuss walking after the battle, when in reality he basically crawled 7 miles before finding water and those from the village getting him.
-Shows he was close with one of the village kids. IN the book each day more an dmore kids showed up and he became friends with them. He noticed one day most of the kids were all beat up, most likely from teh taliban trying to get the kids to tell them where he was.
-He was basically pantless when he was saved, but probably for decency reasons he didnt lose his patns in the movie.
-Book talked about the old, rusty, nasty, putrid pepsi can that they gave him water from that he believes ended up getting him very sick for a long time. IN the movie they had water in a plastic bottle. wonder if pepsi didnt want it to be in the movie?
-I didnt see it the first time, but the second time in the Team room while Patton was doing his initiation I noticed a patch with Marc Lee on it. I knew something was up with that and didnt know if they messed up something or not. I had met Marc on two occasions. At the time of this OP he was just getting to his Team on the west coast right around this time. I looked and Marcus did added this brief (maybe 1 second) visual as a tribute to his buddy who died a couple of years later in Iraq.
-The movie diid briefly show at the beginning some of the BUD/s training that they do before they even become a SEAL. It was from the discovery class 234 that they had on TV in the early 2000's. (Great 6 set mini to watch). Book talked about the initial training.....I know in my brother's class 168 started, 19 finished the first time through.
All in all, there were a few things in the movie that were a little different, or left out, but overall it was pretty damned good and now I saw it on the big screen I give it a 10. I know I am biased about it and I had been waiting for a very long time for this movie to come out. 0 Dark 30 was two hour and 20 so not sure why this one couldnt have been. I think it coulda developed a little more but I imagine the studiou wanted to stay at the 2 hour mark.
