I am not Teirnan, and I have a buzz and am not drunk. (only 3 beers in:)) A team in the mighty SEC just got beat by an FCS team. The gap is not as big as ESecPN would say it is.

Right now, only Arkansas and Kentucky are worse in the SEC. It's the lowest for Florida football in almost 30 years.

Of course, you wonder why they couldn't have one of these type of games against UK over the years. They have beat us 29 straight years...

Also, one of the Mike's this morning said that when Saban was at LSU(wasn't sure if it was there or Bama), his AD said they wanted to schedule Ga Southern and Saban said no way. That he didn't want to play them.

These 2 games are nowhere near the same. Florida is fucking terrible and Michigan was ranked like 5th and expected to compete for a national championship.

Michigan was terrible that year, they were just ranked way too high and it was the first game of the season

Wofford, Samford, furman, and appy state didnt mind scheduling them.

Michigan wasn't terrible that year. They ended the season ranked 18th and beat Tebow in a bowl game. The bolded part is exactly why it was such a bigger deal than the Florida game. If this game was played week 1 when Florida was ranked 10th it would of been just as big of a deal.

The Southern Conference is a good FCS conference who will soon lose Georgia Southern.

Ga Southern recently announced their stadium expansion in conjunction with their plans to go FBS very shortly.
