There are a ton of great opening themes, especially from the 70s and 80s. These would probably be my top 3, in no particular order.

Although MASH is pretty good on its own, I'd suggest the other 2 kind of suck and are driven more by nostalgia (I'd put Seinfeld right up there for similar reasons).

1) Dukes of Hazzard (an actual #1 Country hit)
2) Sopranos
3) Cheers
4) Jeffersons
5) Dallas
6) Good Times
7) Different Strokes

I will rep this. If your theme song extends past 60 seconds, it blows. Fuck the game of thrones opening. Does anybody actually watch through that whole thing more than once?
