The biggest thing IMO is that we work towards breaking down racial barriers in education. The more education EVERYBODY gets in society, the better off we will be. In that situation, people can empower themselves.

I think this is a major reason why "racism," at least as we understand it, is such a perpetual problem. We can't clearly define it, and so we can't (as a neighborhood, culture, nation, etc.) clearly identify it. How do you collectively move to fight against something if you can't even collectively agree on what it is?
