Yeah....but also in these conference tourneys if you win you get 3 good wins and probably 2 very good wins....while most everyone is losing. Can jump 4 or so seeds.

Duke advanced to the ACC championship game for the 12th time in 16 years today, and the first since 2011. Coach K is 13-5 all-time in conference title game appearances, having won 10 of his last 11. Once he gets there, he typically closes the deal. Hoping for some of that same magic again tomorrow.

Virginia will be really tough. If Duke shoots 2-of-11 on free throws down the stretch like it did today, they will not walk away victoriously against the Cavs in a tight game. Rasheed Sulaimon went 1 of fucking 6 in the second half. Virginia is too disciplined.

Duke won the ACC with Johnny Dawkins in 1986 and again with Laettner in 1992, so I'm not sure that's true.

Regardless, you are certainly correct that K really began to dominate the event later in his career. A 10-1 record in ACC championship games since 1999 is fucking nuts.

Him and Lucky(sp?) were kind of getting into, after the convo, K was walking to the bench and threw his marker down. NOTHING deserving of a T.

I wish they'd call a T on Coach K when he actually deserves it. Guy rides the officials all game, every game, but gets a T for throwing a marker? Get real. Jamie Luckie is a jackass.
