FWIW, I'll watch anyone over Weeden after he threw, for a SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK, an underhanded pass.

Chiefs defense is nasty and arrowhead is wild.

This is going to be a massacre. Probably the biggest spread again in Vegas. Second straight week. Go Cleveland.

Is Campbell even somewhat mobile anymore? KC's front 7 is scary.

KC's offense actually doesn't scare me. We keep Charles in check I think it'll be a closer game than most think. Our def has sucked ass the last few weeks though, time for them to step up.

What really happened with Campbell's career since he was at Washington?

I remember when he was there, he was looked at as a decent guy with potential, but he never really evolved and just sort of settled in at mediocre. But then when Washington went in a different direction and he left, he just fell off the map completely to where he seemed to completely suck. I haven't really heard anyone say anything better about him than "he can't be worse than Weeden", so did his skills just diminish all of a sudden or what happened?

He honestly may be worse than weeden from what I remember seeing last year in Chicago from him. It was that bad.

He went to the black hole mess that is the Raiders. He was never great in Washington, but he could manage a game. Was around 63% completion percentage as a starter. I don't care much about last year, since it's not like he had a big sample size, though he did complete 63% of his passes in his limited time. I don't expect him to be great by any means, but I don't think he's near as bad as Weeden.

He was actually looking for for the Raiders 2 seasons ago, before the Browns injured him for the year, which led to the fucking Carson Palmer trade.

Thanks. It was just weird seeing a guy who'd been a tolerable, if not particularly good, starter suddenly become that guy where it seemed things must have really gone wrong for him to get on the field. And I remember he was kind of like that with Chicago and definitely like that now.

He also had a different OC pretty much every year. Never really got a chance to develop within a system.

I think the steelers have more pressing needs than a QB at that spot.

Not a fan of Mettenberger, at all.

Any mock that has the browns taking a RB in the first round loses all credibility.

I skimmed the draft, noticed that one dude's name is "Ha Ha Clinton-Dix", started laughing, then figured he must be an inspirational story because anyone who was conceived by parents who were at least on meth when he was born who is looking like first round material must have worked his ass off against insurmountable odds to have risen that high.

I don't know, if it's that late in the 1st they could take one, depending on what they can add if FA. I would prefer them hold off and maybe take Hyde w/ their 2nd round pick.

There will be plenty of RB talent in the second and third (two picks) rounds. Fuck that shit. Banner didn't trade their former reach of a first round pick to draft another first round RB. I don't think banner has ever drafted a RB in the first round. I wouldn't count on it.

Yea, I don't expect it, just don't think it's out of the realm of possibility. Swapping out Richardson for a younger, cheaper, and probably better RB isn't a terrible move. I mean, I'm sure anyone they draft can average 2.5yds/carry. A lot is going to happen between then and now, so it's impossible to even take an educated guess at what they will do.

They also may think Dion Lewis will be their back next year, and not take a RB till rounds 4 or 5.

Dion will be their back next year. Because he's pretty good and can catch out of the backfield. and that's what you need in a RB

Arrowhead is killer for sure.

Browns lose by 14+ or knock off the unbeaten.

Browns 20
Chiefs 13

The only good news this week is that I have KC defense in fantasy...although that might be a better thing if Weeden was still playing.

I don't think they will keep Charles in check. They might bottle him up on some running plays but he will break free for some swing passes and hurt the Browns receiving.

I'm just wondering if Jamal Charles gets 200 or 300 yds. Could also see Alex Smith looking like a HoFer.

If the browns keep up the run def I could see us making Smiff beating us and I'm not sure he's capable. One of the few QBs that I'd rather have weeden over.
