The most balanced starting 5 in the NBA right now. Very athletic, multiple shot-blocking and rebounding threats, two guards who can shoot, handle and pass. Chandler Parsons can do about 20 different things, none great, all solid.

Find a bench rotation, they are the West favorites IMO.

That same Houston team got blasted the other nights by the clippers in one of the worst defensive displays I've seen. Still too early in the season to make any real judgements though.

I'm also saying that with the assumption that nobody in the West will win 60 games. It's really competitive outside of just a few teams. Teams like Minnesota, Sacramento and Phoenix, who have recently been the cupcakes, are going to definitely beat more teams this year.

Sam Amico ‏@SamAmicoFSO 3m NBA GMs poll if starting team today: 1. LeBron; 2. Durant; 3. Kyrie. No one else got a vote. All 30 GMs polled, can't vote for own player.

I LOVE Kyrie but there is no way in hell he should of received any votes. Those GMs should be fired immediately.

Also Tyson Chandler is out 4-6 wks with a fibula fracture. The bad just got worse. 1-3 knicks without their only paint defender. lol knicks are going to be bad. I can already seeing them getting the #1 overall pick and getting wiggins though.

lol I was a bit surprised by that as well. I would think Love/Rose would get some votes. Maybe they only got 1 vote though?

How many did Kyrie get? No way did they all get 3 votes and Kyrie took down 30 3rd place votes lol.

I assume they all got one, in which case I could see Kyrie getting like 1 or 2 while LeBron and Durant take down the other 28/29

Just takes 1 or 2 GMs who love PGs, cause he is who I start a franchise with (as I said earlier, about 50/50 with Chris Paul) if I'm forced to take a PG...

#1 overall pick in an NBA fantasy franchise draft you're taking Paul George?

Nahh

I'd chose Irving/Rose/Westbrook/Harden/Love/Curry over George.

Though George is undoubtedly a better defender than all named above except maybe Rose.

Rose, an MVP in his 3rd season, not getting named was the biggest surprise to me.

George is a more complete player than all of those guys, that's why I would consider him over those you listed. Tough choice though.

He's more complete than an MVP? Sounds like he should be hoisting the MVP trophy this yr.

Rose should have never won the MVP that year to begin with, and yes I think he is more complete than Rose. Great player but I would rather have George, bigger and can impact the game in more areas than just scoring.

The answer is Lebron or MAYBE Durant. No other person is even close. Paul George got 0 votes and you should not even be a little bit surprised.

I've said it once and I'll continue to say it, DRose is selfish and doesn't make his teammates better.

No one is disputing that. But when Kyrie gets votes, it absolutely begs the question.
