I'm going out of turn since Laley and I are the only ones with WC picks left, and my pick is before him.

What kind of numbers are you expecting from him?

My WC pick is going to be Corey Hawkins, G, UC Davis

REALLY close to taking Troy Huff, G/F, North Dakota

Also debated between Kyle Vinales and RJ Hunter. RJ Hunter since he was only a FR last year and Georgia St will be a REALLY good team (looking at Championship Week). NCAA upset pick good. But they add players, particularly Ryan Harrow, so his numbers might not increase and may fall a bit despite the team being good. Vinales is for C. Conn. St and may lead the country in scoring (as well as Hawkins) if Travis Bader or McDermott dont...

With one of the most dominating players in MAC history no longer by his side in Zeke Marshall, I think 15 and 10 is reasonable.

if his numbers stay the same as last year, he will get me 22pts a night, if pts go up to 15 and rebounds up to 10, while everything else stays the same, he will get me 28 points a night.

I realize averaging 10 is a lot, but the dude is an absolute monster on the boards. Helps that he is playing against Mac competition as well

Hawkins was one of the first guys I looked at. Wondered if anyone was going to take him. Can't believe it took until the last WC pick.

Kyle Vinales is also sick. And to think that Toledo almost landed him in the off-season. He had made the announcement that he was leaving Central Connecticut State and then committed to Toledo, and then pulled out last second. That's a kid I would have went and watched play once eligible.

Laley I think you'll be glad you passed on Huff don't think his numbers will be as good as last year.

I was pissed that vinales didn't end up at UT. I'll be covering 75% of the Toledo home games. Would've done so many interviews and shit with him just cause he was on my team. Might've been my 2nd round pick lol

I'm actually surprised that nobody picked Bader from Oakland. I know it would have been their WC pick but like Laley said, he will probably one of the top(if not the top) leading scorers in the country.

Yeah I thought about him wiz. I found a dude 30 minutes after I made my WC can't even remember his name but he is from Alabama A&M which is in Huntsville where I live. If I had picked him I'm sure I would have went to some of their games lol.

Hawkins was my "senior who's peaked" WC that I passed on for long. The other guy I considered was venky jois.

Baders issue is he only scores.

I think hawkins has peaked, but even so you are lookin at some 45 pt nights in our scoring from him. Maybe more.

Updated.

We have S&L, Iliketurtles and birddog23 before we're complete.

Paypal link for funds is $20 to [email protected].

The other thread has the payout suggestion, which seems to be the popular choice. Still need a few more people to say they concur before it's finalized.

How are we going to handle the rounding of scores each week? Whole points, tenths, hundredths? At the end of each game or at the end of the week?

I'm just going to use decimal points...shouldn't be anything more than tenths because we're going game by game and not season averages.

30 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks and 10 turnovers = 61.75 for the week
40 points, 6 rebounds, 15 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks and 15 turnovers = 61.5 for the week

No rounding, player 2 wins.

I'll make my pick, give me a few.

And also, it's taking a few days for Paypal to get my bank transfer, so I'll send it as soon as it hits.

We should have made rule for the last round to be that we had to find the weirdest name.

Did you by chance have my guy on your list? lol I didn't do much research on him, just kind of found him and took him. It could probably be a horrible pick.
