Agreed. This is a main reason why I tried to stick with guys who played in more open systems or where freedom for players to make plays is a significant part of the offense. A guy like C.J. Wilcox has the advantage of putting up some monster scoring games in Lorenzo Romar's uptempo attack at UDubb, whereas a stellar athlete like Jalen Jones should flourish in Larry Brown's more NBA-styled system at SMU. Hoping that philosophy ends up working out for me, but the players have to perform in the end. That's what I'm saying. At least twice so far I've found a player a pick or two before mine and they were then immediately taken, lol.
