I don't think Ironman puts a lot of emphasis on MNF. The Colts looked horrible against a then 2-3 football team.Laley23;1518075 wrote:Just wondering how a team goes from 4th to at best 9th with a road loss on MNF?
Of course, they looked atrocious, but still...
I still have them in the top 8, but I could definitely see why some wouldn't.

San Diego is better than their record indicates.SportsAndLady;1518078 wrote:I don't think Ironman puts a lot of emphasis on MNF. The Colts looked horrible against a then 2-3 football team.

Only 6 games to base on. They were just teetering ahead of a few of them and MNF is an extremely small factor, whereas they played like crap. #4 plays like crap and loses...drops to #9. I don't see the argument of them losing on the road, especially when many don't seem to care about them winning at SF easily.Laley23;1518075 wrote:Just wondering how a team goes from 4th to at best 9th with a road loss on MNF?

That's what everyone says every year about SD. They make too many mistakes to be a good football team.robj55;1518080 wrote:San Diego is better than their record indicates.

I still don't trust the Chiefs but at some point I guess you have to.Laley23;1521508 wrote:I think I will keep my list exactly the same. Colts at 3, after a loss last week and a win last night.
Defense is legit.

I think the Chiefs are overrated too, but teams better hope with that D they don't end up having to play at Arrowhead in-front of 90K fans and in 10-degree weather. They really haven't been relevant in a while, at least as a legit contender, and that could be a potential buzzsaw I'd want to avoid come the playoffs.

Same here. Just as I was not sold on NE's good record before the last couple of losses, I dont fully believe the Chiefs are the team to beat. Hats off to them though, they havent lost and it isnt like college or HS where ya beat up on programs that have no business even playing you.Ironman92;1521587 wrote:I still don't trust the Chiefs but at some point I guess you have to.
Defense is legit.
Reggie Wayne getting hurt really fucks with the Colts. In watching the Indy/Den game it almost seemed like the passing of the torch. Luck was on the money, managing the game and making solid throws whereas PM was scrambling around, fluttering passes and just not looking solid.
If RW wasnt hurt then I would put the Colts at number one I think even with two losses. They beat the Seahawks, Broncos and 49ers. No team has anything like that on their resume.
Best thing is......it all gets settled come playoff time and not some BS voting/computer system!

Crazy season so far.
#1 Broncos
#2 Chiefs
#3 Seahawks
#4 Patriots
#5 Saints
#6 Lions
#7 Panthers (lol)
#8 49ers
Right now.....this is the most open to win it all or at least make the playoffs as I can ever remember. So many teams are Jekyll and Hyde.

I know they are hard to take seriously and their SOS isn't great....but Panthers have won 5 in a row I think, are 6-3, defense is excellent and just beat SF in SF today.friendfromlowry;1533492 wrote:1. Seattle Seahawks

Broncos
seahawks
chiefs
New orleans
carolina
new england
Indy
cincy
my longshoreman is the giants. They have been playing good recently and still have a chance to win their division. If Eli can get hot at the end of the year they have a chance.
i can't remember a year with so few top quality teams
