Love all kinds >> current favorite, by a wide margin, is the chocolate covered pretzel in vanilla from Ruggles. Hard not to eat the entire container once you start.

New Baltimore has pretty tasty ice cream. I think Jeni's is fantastic as well.

The worst: Chocolate and vanilla cone from the general store in Deerville, Ohio. There was a fucking small band-aid inside of it. I'm pretty sure that town is where they shot The Hills Have Eyes.

Toft's, Jeni's, Graeter's, Handel's, and Mr. Freeze are all delicious.
As for a couple that have not been mentioned, I will go with Kenmore Freeze in Akron and Paul's in Shelby.
Oh and my favorite flavors are chocolate, vanilla, swirl and cookie dough.

Mr. Freeze in Perrysburg, OH. Used to ride my bike there 3 times a week when it was open for it. Still make the stop whenever I work in BG/Perrysburg.

Graeters is the GOAT /discussion
When I was living on the east coast, a friend of mine was going to cincy and asked me where to go eat/things to do. I said, just go to graeters, you're welcome. She rolled her eyes then proceeded to tell me about ice cream in new england that was the best yadda yadda. Anyways, she made it to Graeters (og location I believe) and became an instant believer. She said, she didn't want to like it, but couldn't help it.
Haven't had store bought ice cream in a really long time, but I recall really liking Texas Gold's cookies 'n' cream.

Texas Gold is probably the best store-bought I've had. I really haven't had much ice cream since I started the whole diet/fitness deal a couple years ago. One of the few things I regret cutting from my average diet. Anyone ever been to Deb's Golden Bear full-menu ice cream parlor in Applecreek? Used to pass it all the time on my way to my grandfather's who lived in New Philly. Always wanted to stop as a kid, but never did because my Dad was an asshole. J/k. Just never stopped. We always went to the Dairy Queen-styled place called Frank's Treat Time in Crestline instead.

Mitchell's in greater Cleveland is my favorite of all time. I love Graeters, but I vote Mitchell's number 1.

Also, slight correction to my post above. My cone with HIV sprinkles was purchased in Deersville in Harrison County, not Deerville. Just googled that sophisticated cosmopolis and it is inhabited by 79 people, which explains everything. What a fucking hole. Beware of getting any food there.
They use high end products and toppings and it's not too cheap but it is awesome.
Scoop of French vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce over that, another scoop of ice cream, ample topping of smooth marshmallow, scoop of ice cream, some more marshmallow and a generous portion of crushed nuts which are made fresh every morning in their peanut roaster which is nearly 100 years old......they have a significant business selling the nuts in many varieties. Jackson County isn't good for much....but the bubble is a must try.
