As a white male, I wouldn't be caught on the East side of DC anytime when the sun isn't out.

Live in a small town, so there's no BAD areas. A couple areas full of trailer parks and low-income apartment complexes I'd glad I'm not living at, though, just local police reports indicate those areas are where they get called out to the most (for the usual white trash sorts of things like domestics and drunk-n-disorderly) and I have no desire to be in any high-cop region.

Worst...as in dangerous? I'm far from that, but where I live now is very diverse. Some people would freak, but I don't mind it.

In general...what makes my area "the worst"? Hasidic Jews. They're also my landlords and it seems like they own my entire neighborhood. They suck.

Going to be in blue ash this weekend for a wedding, but we are supposed to meet up with somebody sunday morning/early afternoon. Any recommendations? Here is what I am looking for:

-Something in the city
-Somewhere we can't get killed
-Nearby parking if that is possible
-Somewhere I can watch football and not listen to two girls gossip

I'm assuming you'll be eating wherever you end up?

Blue Ash is a nice area but it's north of the the actual city. If I were you I'd head down to the Hyde Park/Oakley area (~15 minutes from Blue Ash). There is a great little bar a short walk from my house that we go to a lot called O'Bryons (technically in O'Bryonville). It's an irish bar with great wings (and food in general) and a patio on the roof. Lots of televisions in the bar, and I think 3 on the patio. Oak Tavern is a great bar in Oakley with great food. Those two will probably be your best bets as far as watching the games go.

Nice, I will go with that. I guess I can return your patio furniture while I am at it.

I live in Tremont (Cleveland) currently. On my street alone, which isn't big, the top part near the bars are fine, nice houses, even 500k townhouses, but less than a block down it is poverty, and then public housing (which is nicer than my apartment). None of them really go to the hipster bars in the area, so there isn't much interaction, but is gets pretty seedy looking at night. Used to live in downtown cleveland, near W. 12th, and it was real bad. Welfare handouts across the street, and execution style double murder in the park across from the embassy hotel, etc. Wouldn't be caught dead walking past W 13th at night.

I live in Fort Recovery. There is no bad part of town. However, elitists from towns like Coldwater and St. Henry think the whole town is a slum.
